Dear All,

My xbox 360 suffered 3RD im afraid, what happened is that when i play a game after not long, it just shutz down by itself and the 3 red rings appear and nothing you can do but reset your machine, so i did and it happened again and again and again. May i know what is my problem?i dont see any error code though? what can mine be done? i gave my machine back to the shop i bought it and might have to wait for a week!!damn it!pls help..=( thanks.

im really dissapointed i bought my unit for barely a week and i got the 3ROD. i hardly play it summore, have never played more than an hour before.damn it.i really am dissapointed as im afraid even after fixing it, it will happen again, is sooo poor the quality.sigh..

this will be my first and my last xbox i'll ever buy. i dont trust this product anymore.

my problem with 3ROD is like this..

i switch on..is normal, green light..then after like 5mins, sometimes 10mins
it will shut off, and my tv is blank, and my console got 3red colour, nothing i can do but to restart, when i restart, it works again..green light..then can play awhile, then nomore again..anyone know my problem?mine is not dead yet right?

I think theres soooo many cases of this 3ROD happening, why a'rent microsoft doing a recall of their faulty product? can someone tell me why?

mine is 3rd of December 2006 if im not mistaken.

i read up in the internet that this problem has happened to manny unit even much earlier..but what i dont understd is why is microsoft keep on producing faulty machines?why arent they doing something to rectify this problem? why a'rent they recalling their machines?

all they want is money?but dont you think they will loose out alll the potential future buyers? like for me..i've stayed loyal from PS1 to PS2 and PSP, PS3 not yet, this is because Sony Playstation is generally a good machine..i bought xbox360 cause i thought have a change and try it out.

But if Xbox360 dont maintain good service n quality, im very sure they wont last in the future,as for me, my very first xbox barely a week, didnt even play for more than an hour, and this happens? do you think i'll still buy another microsoft console?the answer is definitely NO. i've vowed that this Xbox360 will be my first and my last..

may i know anyone bought their machine from a shop in Summit called
Maxplus?

well, i kept asking them but they give me empty promises..
first when i send it back for repair, they say definitely less than a week to fixed, and they will put my machine as priority as i just bought it 4days and got 3ROD symptoms. Then after a week has past, still not fixed, i call them they say is with the technician, mine is fixing..then waited another 1 week, now still no news. i really hate people that cant keep to their words...even if u tell me Sir, we need 2-3 weeks, then i will know is 2-3weeks, you F**KING tell me less than a week, then u tell me fixing adi, 2-3 more days, and now i've waited i dont even remember how long adi..WHAT THE F**CK?

And when i asked him what is wrong with the machine and what are you gona fix?he say we gona change the chipset?huh???got such thing? what i wanted to know is whether they are using the "Xclamp" method.

Just to let those who dont know my story, i bought it for less than a week, played less than 1 hour, bought the special edition with 2 free games and 2 wireless controller...then got 3ROD, crazy right?

im sorry people, im REALLY MAD AT THE SHOP "MAXPLUS" I BOUGT IT FROM SUMMIT.PLEASE NEVER EVER GO THERE AND BUY ANYTHING!!i tell you why i say this ok? usually i never say bad abt shops but this shop they are all very bad at their servicing, you bring your machine back to them, is like my fault?they are damn rude and dont give much a damn about you after you bought it.i bought it there because it was near my house.

where is ur console now? where did u buy it?

well..sigh..i have no idea how to handle this situation to be honest, i just bought it less than a week...dont let them fix for me? or loose out letting them damage my only less than 1 week machine?

i tried to ask for my console back from my shop but they say if i allow other people to fix, the warranty from them is void...hmm..another dilemma, i've asked them and they say they do x-clamp method, sigh..i also dunno what to do. watse my money, pay so much..i dont see anything i get in return.

COCKY, He is short fellar, looks like a drug addict 1, I go back the Shop he Will be giving me his F**CKING stare like im at wrong for my Xbox to be repaired...kept staring at me with his fierce yong sui face..i have a temper, but before my temper blows, i tolerate, if over my limit..believe me i will b**** slap him. im known for that.

well, i've said in my previous posting...

This will be my first and my last console from Microsoft for sure.
i regretted buying it every single day..ahahha.

i will stick back to Sony after this episode is over.

You see the problem is this...Microsoft is not doing anything to rectify this problem, you change a new set, its the same..3ROD happens again, They dont admit they have a problem here, cause as far as i know, many users change new one still the same...Thats why i say MS sucked big time! and i will never buy another MS console again nomatter how good it can get, and i will never get a console from F**KING SUMMIT, MAXPLUS.

This is what i think should be the decency for MS to react.
First they need to admit they sucked and created a lousy machine in terms of 3ROD, then secondly they should find a REAL way to rectify this 3ROD, change the structure of the machie or whatever, 3rd they shud F**king call for a "RECALL" of Xbox 360 machines from existing users, and replace the good with for them.

I've never had problems like these, problems in such severity with SONY before.
