QUOTE(gp02 @ Apr 22 2007, 09:09 PM) nonono by the way,how to maintain 360.everytime b4 playin a game,i'll wait15 minutes to warm up 360.den wait another 15 minutes again too cool down b4 shuting it down.fren teach me like tat.but stil kena.wat is the true method to take k it? LoL, actually i oso do that. warm up the 360 gently and letting it to cool off b4 shutdown. really nth much a 360er can do, if the mobo want to flex and blend, it'll flex and blend. maybe some mobo are manufactured by different factories using different materials? there's still plenty of 360s made in oct'05 still working perfectly up to this date.

aiseh, the set flashed its 1st 3RedLights yest not 2RL, not 4RL, guess its inevitable? reconnected everything and it booted normally again (for now) poor thing. its manufacture date is 01-June-06 ( i bought it much later, though) - still an infant w/o its 1st birthday. hang in there !!

actually reading from all the cases here, it seems the less u play/or ON the 360, the higher chance of 3RL!? i wonder if that is coincidence? almost as if the 360 will develop cold solders when being neglected. thats illogical, right?

QUOTE(Rocky @ Jun 6 2007, 02:00 PM) MS tend to change their hardward whenever they want. My last 360 power brick have 3 pins manufacture date March 06. Just bought last week new 360 manufacture date November 06, power brick 2 pins only. WTF!!!! i'm guessing SGP and HK use 3-pin, same as M'sia while TWN and KOR uses 2 pin? QUOTE(Zaryl @ Jun 6 2007, 02:07 PM) Hmm I was wondering about my manufacturing date. Bought my machine last 3 weeks ago. 2006 - 12 - 04 So, is it: 1) 12th April 2006; or 2) 4th December 2006 A bit confuse here... they use YYYYY-MM-DD format so yours is a december baby

anyway, my tips on your 360. must plan better ventilation. on the 360, make sure the power cable not blocking the vent at behind.

http://www.elotrolado.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=834891super-duper awesome!! actually, i pretty stumped why those 3rd party accessories /casemod company never produce a case-replacement for DIYers. make a custom/larger 360 case where the dvd-rom is located further away (or in an external case). sell improved HSF for GPU. sounds like a viable product for the fanbase.

i think any extra cooling helps. yours is an Elite - Zephyr model? those have extra GPU heatsink so should be more reliable.
