My xbox 360 died on me few times already. Here's what I did to my xbox 360.

I've removed the dvd drive (by changing the sata cable and extending the wires) placing it on top of the xbox360 leaving alot of room inside to do some modding. this is just my first test. I'm thinking of completely change the GPU heatsink and replace it with a bigger HSF with the fan blowing towards the back of the xbox then replacing the air vent with a bigger custom air vent (mainly for the GPU) for better air flow.
When the test is ok, I will make a cover for the DVD drive to make it look nicer.

So far my xbox360 is working ok.

Thanks to rezalida for lending me some info on how to revive my xbox360.

Now I need to do something about the DVD Drive.
I wonder if there's the Xbox360 external HD DVD casing sold anywhere. The size of the HD DVD drive and the xbox360's dvd drive is the same.

cannot, or atleast without modding.
I think I'll make a cover myself out of cardboard.
