Yea, i have seen a few consoles that i fix with the x-clamps already loosen out. I just need to peel it off with my hands rather than using the long nose plier to use extreme force to pull it out

I guess more cooling is needed in that white box eh

I guess is my time to get 3ROD......It happened yesterday night

I was trying my newly bought Blue Dragon, after few minutes trying my Xbox360 suddenly hang in the game !!!! Then I reboot my Xbox360 and straight away got 3ROD beautiful light infront of my eye.........And then I reboot again my Xbox360 and this time got no problem..........I guess the 3ROD just now was a signal to me that my Xbox360 going to DIE in anytime .

Thats what exacly happen to me last time.Yes it may be the 1st sign. Be strong may the force be with you

Well, at least u got a warning. Mine just 3ROD without any warning. Good thing we can get it fixed these days.

yup like mine no signs at all it just came just like that... taraaa... 3rod!

I am thinking if my Xbox360 get hit again and it totally die, should I send back to M$ SG or give to SIFU here to fix it

if still have just send la. if not,, just give to sifu virgil or TOT.. they can make ur machine... life again.. ....

I guess it depends on how long u can wait for u'r machine to get fixed. If it really 3RODs, then look for the error code, if it matches the one that "our" guys can fix, why not send it to them? It'll take maximum 2 days. Wonder how long it'll take if u sent it back to SG?

If go SG by ourself should be in one week time can get back the console. But before that must call M$ SG to get the appointment. I had did for my friends before and drove to SG to claimed the console. Actually the warranty process is quite simple just the draw back is have to drive all the way to SG .

well if you have warranty then i think better claim warranty...

if still under warranty just calculate the cost to send the console, transport, pass to enter the city, etc. it can total to hundred plus.

if no more warranty the cost to repair on average is SGD240....

If its still under warranty, i strongly suggest you exchange yours for a refurbished one. Deal the damage back to M$ at least... and at the same time give them a nice complaint too..

You can even drive to SG to make the switch, then i guess you doesnt need to make a choice right? Cause you are already have everything from transport to SG, exchanging the console experience, so i guess it will be a swift procedure for you.

I wonder if you exchange it for a refurbished one, do they give you back something like a Hitachi dvd-drive to a Samsung dvd-drive... because so far, Samsung drives has these screeching sound coming from it when you run a disc or during startup of the console... while Hitachi so far is the best with no errors at all (from the Xbox-scene forum discussion)....

Yeah I went there with my friends twice to warranty their console. Regarding the drive, I got no idea but I think my console got the screeching sound like you mentioned.
