Here's the picture of it.I got  the 3rod with the 0102 error code.I did this mod along with the eraser fix.The error I used to had and it's diagnostic (maybe):

1)got artifacts(flashing textures,weird geometrical display,etc) - indicates the GPU is overheating
2)game/console freezed with red checkered patern on the screen - indicates that the CPU or GPU memory is overheating

So I try strapping the pc graphic card cooler and some additional fan for the CPU and it looks ok so far.Not sure if this will fix the overheat issues or will the legendary 3rod strikes back again.Damn microsuck,360 would be very good if it isn't because of this design flaw.

hahaha..yeah xb360 looks like not defeated by ps3 or wat, but themself......wat a stupid lousy machine     

xblive rocks , games great, but hardware like shit

In only five minutes since we started playing the game, the temperature of the heat sink on the graphics LSI rose to 70°C. The thermal gradient was about 10°C/min.

In 15 minutes, the microprocessor heat sink temperature stabilized at 58°C, but the heat sink on the graphics LSI rose to 80°C, 57°C above the room temperature.

Assuming room temperature of 35°C in mid-summer, the gap is estimated to reach more than 90°C. In that case, the temperature of chips in the graphics LSI could exceed 100°C.

I opened up the dead xbox yesterday, reclean an reapplied the thermal paste, added a fan directly blowing air out of the GPU heat sink and voila!....it's alive again....

But I have no doubts it will die again.

Now I leave the unit exposed without the top casing since the fan is in the way. .
