QUOTE(ICDeadPeople @ Sep 3 2007, 12:26 PM) My xbox died last thursday, but not because of 3rod, but a power surge (aircond, washing machine, dvd player, astro all hangus...). the power brick is certainly dead, but Im not sure if the console was affected or not. Anybody has experience/idea? If the console is also affected, can it be revive again? nah normally power surge the first thing that will blow is the transformer step down in the power brickbut before that there shld be a fius in the power brick wall socket cable please do open and inspect before u take my word abt the transformer if that is blown up try changing it and test it again |

QUOTE(ICDeadPeople @ Sep 4 2007, 09:51 AM) Thanks man. I think its the powerbrick itself that caput. I've check the fius from other appliance (washing machine, aircon, but forgot to check the xbox). you can always buy 3rd party power brick i supposeReally hope tnb will take responsible on this..... but whether its reliable and provide stable power to ur xbox or not imm not sure |
