Indeed E73 is the worst off problem you can ever encounter and maybe 0022 also which indicate GPU overheating.
From my experience i think both this errors are beyond cure.
0022 might just be any ordinary error (like the 0102 and 0020) but in fact it is not! Having this error means that the GPU is releasing more heat than ever and the GPU chip itself is already wrecked and nothing can be done to solve it other than changing the chip itself (do mind that even reballing/reflowing wont help it).

my 360 got 3rod about a month ago.sent it the shop because I'm too lazy to fix it by myself and got charged rm250 blink.gif  which is quite expensive.I don't know what the hell that they do with it as they said they gonna "repair" the mobo.Unfortunately, after an hour playing(after being serviced),it happened again.I was so pissed off and sent it to the shop again coz they said got 1 month warranty. They fixed it this time but sadly,it lasted for about mere 1 month only and it 3rod again.I was so mega pissed off by this microsuck console, this console is very good in terms of performance, games, etc but very poor in reliability.Lastly I decided to do a cincai repair to it by strapping a pc graphic cooler(zalman vf700 series) on the gpu heatsink and gues what,it lives just fine till now tongue.gif .The dvdrom sits outside and on top of the casing. If I got time, maybe I'll remove the default gpu heatsink and fixed the pc graphic card heatsink directly onto the gpu instead. Now my 360 looks just like its cousin the original xbox with dvdrom on top of the casing.

Well... i guess both 0020 and 0022 mean time's up... i can't boot this junk up... uh great, now i can dedicate full time to my works, crap... a few days ago when i was playing assassin creed it froze up and gave me the same thing when i rebooted the junk. But it was ok again after i rebooted it a few more times... heck... now it is really dead for good...

I suggest you better not on-off it anymore. Stress it more and the "infection" spreads over to other chip.
If its under warranty from M$, i strongly suggest that you send it for warranty. Who knows you might get back a refurbished one with extra heatsink and the new falcon GPU chip.

I think the so-called NOS mod is just the 12V fan mod or maybe an extra fan with fan vents shrouding.

Correct me if i am wrong, bro rezalida smile.gif

Need some expert opinion. I did the xclamp removal to revive my dead box, and it works... for less than 5 min. After that a 2ROD flashing. The 2ROD indicates overheat right? So what actually is the cause of the overheating? is it because I put too much thermal paste, or too little?
Im using cooler master nano by the way.
*
Doesnt matter what thermal paste you use.
Probably it is too much smile.gif
And make sure that the heatsinks are firmly attached to the GPU/CPU chips.

yeah, my brother tweaked the screws to test whether
its too tight or too loose. ( he cant get access to the xclamp
coz he dont have the appropriate screwdriver )
he kinda tweaked it and sometimes the 3 red light is gone.
but still nothing on screen.
*
I suggest that you stop whatever you're doing now and seek a proper fix from one of the fixers here or get a screwdriver and perform the fix yourself.
The more you tweak it/on-off will only worsen the condition if not break it.

@yhanlee - Do not perform a pre-3ROD x-clamp replacement because every operation has a risk.
And not forgetting opening up the console voids your warranty.
There is still no 100% certainty that by removing the x-clamp, the 3ROD wont appear.

E79: Hard Drive Error... It could be a problem with the Hard Drive itself or a problem with the internal connection to the hard drive, Try removing the hard drive and playing without it.
According to tmbinc: E79 is the error code if xam.xex could not be started, i.e. probably a file system corruption.

The 3ROD error 0102 might be a secondary error with the E79 underlying it.
Because i have experience where 3 lights becoming 1 light after the fix.
So i presumed that the console will show 3 lights rather than 1 lights if there is 2 error in the console.
