For gaming and within 27-30inch right?
This monitor has 144hz refresh rate with size of 27inch, maybe you have other options on your mind, mind to tell?

For UltraWide, you can forget about 29" UltraWide as it is just 24" size but longer.

34" UltraWide wise is 27" size but longer and you need to spend at least RM 2.4k

VX3209-2K IPS V.sonic - this is nice and within your budget but ... if your place got ants, be-careful.

Here is the question you need to ask your self, watch video time vs gaming time which one more......
If you watch a lot of video or movie, which you can sit back on bed or sofa far from the monitor for long time, get the VX3209,
else get the monitor i suggested
I myself 30% Gaming 70% Video using XL2411z, yet i didn't find the screen small when watching video from my bed (2.7meter from eye to monitor)

Ps: 144hz monitor for gaming are worth it

Is it necessary to get 27" above?
I myself having the same problem when choosing size of monitor, was aiming for 27" also, but turn out 24" is enough for my use
At 24" i also having problem, the monitor was too close to me because my table was small (50cm wide only)

Keyboard and mouse decide already? Speaker, chair and table?
If you chose smaller screen, extra $ can be put into other thing

Nope..3rd pc in ma life..just want something different..bored with 24”..on this build im focusing on screen..bcos i havent try yet...no need to rush with everything..finish with rig n monitor then can proceed with other thing...

Oh. Because I own this monitor before and ants go inside.

Already go thru ur thread..now i shuld consider that.sometimes my table full with ants..

Read somewhere posted by u said that using 1060 will have some issues while gaming..i need to consider changing gc if it really happen but i hope not

If you dont want to lock yourself down to just gaming, for me, it was between the Acer R271 and Viewsonic VX3209.

R271 coz it has a pretty good refresh rate and is an IPS screen for me to watch movies and do some design work.

VX3209 coz its super value for money and its HUUUUGE.

And if budget is an issue, opt for 0% installment from Lazada. Thats how i bought my VX3209

No issue for 1060 just certain games may not able to set all maximum quality. For example The Witches and GTO V in 2K resolution.

For 4K resolution, currently only 1080 can render in proper

So you tried 144hz monitor already and want something else?
Got consider G-Sync monitor since you using Nvidia card?

It's best to see the monitor itself and try it, lowyat plaza good place to see all these monitor...

I would suggest.. base on your budget

LG 29UM59A, cost around sub RM900
