Hi Peeps,

Anyone installed their woofer on the door panel? Not those big ass woofer but 6" or 8" inch woofer size?
My car has limited boot space and i dislike underseat woofer's.

Any idea?

Thanks.

IMHO, if u want sub-bass audio fidelity to any extent,
a sub woofer is UNAVOIDABLE.

Assuming you are able to mount an 8" woofer to your door (good luck),
the issue is you nee some CLOSED VOLUME (or ported) behind the woofer for
the woofer to be efficient in producing the frequencies you want.

The door does not have enough volume.

I havent begun to talk about the vibration yet.

TLDR, Get a decent sub, or buy a bigger car.

Inspira

Maybe i need to cut a hole on my door for better sound distribution and adding a door sound proofing.

What's your full setup bro?

For midbass, you may try soundproofing your doors and change the speaker adaptor to aluminium baffle and put foam around it.. then tune it bro..

My morel maximo play loud and bassy after done these things bro..

Ya bro. Basically my setup quite simple standard. Component speakers > 4-Channel amp > 12 inch Woofer in the boot.

the door speaker has aluminium baffle but not sure about the foam ... u r right i should spend some good sound proofing
