why would take this package when you can take it separately?

Because the standalone MaxisONE Plan 188 comes with only 50GB of data whereas this 188 plan bundled under MaxisONE PRIME is supposed to come with unlimited data, hence a different name for this new bundled postpaid plan.

at least maxis is willing to step up and compete. Unifi 30mbps is also offering unlimited usage but with slightly higher price, RM199. Maxis is putting a fair price i guess for their 'premium' service.

Really Maxshit... spent all the time thinking how to scam Malaysians. Maybe I should consider porting out of this shit hole.

This works well if you get the plan and then use the additional lines for home broadband in other homes.
E.g. (1) primary broadband at your home (2) line 1 use in a different home via 4g router (3) line 2 use in another home via 4g router (4) line 3, 4 and 5 for normal mobile use.

Everyone gets unlimtied calls, text, data.. 300gb usage limit for mobile data but if its light use by older family members, you'll definitely won't hit that mark..

Should be particularly good for students away from home since they can take their unlimited broadband with them..

But if everyone does this, I wonder how long can maxis keep this up without clogging the mobile data bandwidth..

This package just made digi infinite more appealing.

Better to take Digi Daily Unlimited, get 600GB data for RM240 in 30 days.

I'm staying with unifi 50mbps + MOP 158 with 1 supp line too and it's still cheaper below RM400.

Hi..now maxis one prime bundle it with the new Huawei P20 / P20 pro with only RM 1. Izzit worth consider P20pro is retail at 3299

Last time I got huawei mate 10 pro, straight away sold it. Super worth it if you can share/ rent the 4 sublines as the cost would be only around rm80 for each number, while enjoying unlimited data call sms on maxis!


The downside is you need to stick with maxis homefibre.

Ya i can either use or sell the P20. But i'm not sure about the share line things here. Anyway i need 1 share line as well.

Hi everyone,here to share some info for my maxis one prime family plan(188+89+48+48) with 2 sup line,RM 373.This is what i get after exceed 300GB mobile data usage,both maxis 3 line is same slow internet access,confirm speed capped by maxis,speed slow like hell seem only 64kbps when browsing and must refresh many times to reload zzz...dint happen this b4 300GB used,account new register on date 24/10.Anybody has same with me?Will go and terminate this account next week, and complaint to MCMC.haha

The terms and conditions stated if combine usage exceed 300 GB, they will limit the quality of video. Will they cap the speed other than video streaming?

Yes,both of my sim card is same,download speed maximum is 2-2.5MB/sec after exceed 300GB,test on nvidia and AMD driver official site.Before this,the nvdia driver download speed is 13MB+,AMD driver is 20MB+,and after maxis cap the speed,i cant browsing all the time,always the connection has timed out,must keep reload many times

Your speedtest shows 20+ Mbps and you also confirm download speed of 2MBps, after you exceed 300gb, but thats is still quite reasonably fast, right? How come you think they throttled you at 64kbps? They purposely drop your packages?

So after 300GB usage the speed for download still acceptable ( 2MBps@16mbps) but regarding cannot browse do you contact maxis cs? Tempting to subscribe but cannot browse after 300GB seems like no deal.

Can we allocate how much supp line can used in mymaxis apps? Like Maxis One?

There is no need as the MyMaxis app will show that all principal and suplementary lines’ data allocated for Maxis One Prime are ‘endless’ (with t&c).

what is the benefit ?

Perhaps Maxis should revise the FUP for MadisONE Prime from the current 300GB to 1TB.

No speed cap for non-streaming app. Streaming is capped to 480p but I cant really watch anything once ran out of quota.

Did any of u guys take the 128 + 48 bundled with phone? I tried to ask one of the staff at a maxis shop, they say the phone bundle discount for Maxis128 is not entitled for new maxis customers. But in the FAQ says for both existing and new.
