Hi everyone
My MacBook fan will run at full speed (around 4,400rpm above) 90% of the time when i'm using it
The noise from the fan is quite disturbing
Anyone knows what is the cause for fan running so fast? Saw that the CPU gets quite hot, does it mean CPU can't really cope anymore? however I'm not using any heavy software. Even opening Chrome/Microsoft Word will cause the fan to full blast
When I tried to open iPhoto, Chrome, and Photoshop simultaneously, then it will get super lag and ask me to restart

My MacBook Spec:
MacBook White Late 2006 model
1.83GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
2GB RAM
500GB HDD
Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6.8)

CPU at 86ÂșC for sure the fan will blast at max.
You probably want to try other browser than Chrome.

Just try open the back and clean up all the dust that has been collecting for the past 11 years. Maybe that cause air flow to stuck a bit. By the way, it used to happen to my 2007 iMac too. I'm not bothered at all.
