The quality looks good though, even for the rear dashcam.

so how much is price?
for rear dashcam, you need a long wiring to bring to the cigarette power port right?

USD399 for the 16GB to USD516 for the 128GB.

The rear camera connects to the front cam. Powered by the charger via accessory port. There is a hardwire option available for parking mode.

BlackVue is one of the world top dashcam manufacturers from Korea. Guarantee the quality is there. Currently, China dashcams don't have good capacitor dual dashcams with working parking mode.

I didn't get the hardwire kit for A119 to test the parking mode. But I heard it's almost comparable to Korea dashcam's parking mode.

Thought of getting the VicoVation Vico Power Plus for the parking mode but worry about voiding the car warranty.

Should not be a problem as it just piggyback on the fusebox. If any, just unplug before bring your car back for warranty claims.

This is better than DR650W as newer model and specs.

I'm confirmed getting the Thinkware QXD800. Pittasoft hasn't replied my request yet as the DR900S is delayed to Q2 to release.

Hi sifus,

Im looking for a suitable dash cam.
My requirements are more for the parking feature, therefore ive shortlisted Blackvue 650, but im also afraid of car battery drain. I know that there is a external battery that can be used to minimize the drain, but its very expensive.

Would you have any recommendation for a dash cam that has got good parking features, and at the same time, does not drain my car battery? My budget including installation must be not more than RM2K.

Thanks and appreciate your time for reading.

Look at the Thinkware F770 with 32GB and installation about rm1720 at EA Auto.

Another thing is how long you want to run the parking mode. Anything more than 12 hours, best to consider the external battery as you have to consider other electronics in the car also using the car battery.

Thanks for the suggestion of Thinkware. Do you know of any workshops carrying this in PJ area?
My park mode is no longer than 12 hours actually. What sort of external battery are you referring to?

I'm using Thinkware F800 Pro now laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

Blackvue maybe if Malaysia has a distributor. But now all stock from Singapore. Brought in by grey market sellers.
