currently i am using stellar 12" double voice coil double stacked magnet..
i felt like..it no enough for me..
and my frd got gip me some ideas..
one fit in 15" stellar double voice coil double stacked magnet..( no nesary...and not suitable for metal)
two fit in 2 pair 12" stellar single voice coil magnet..( no space adi )

no ned to change my monoblock..
if fit in two pair 12" double voice coil..ned to add one more monoblock...

for your info..usually i listen to songs like within temptation,lacuna coil and so...sometime slow one..

wat u think?

borrow your fren subs

scorpian 12" double voice coil....even got two battery...after a while..spoil adi..sent to warraty
JBL 15" 1000...15" realy not suitable for me..
stellar 12" double magnet 2.5 voice coil...blast until kong also....even add in two way crossover to control it..and two battery as well..now sent to warraty also..and get another pair which i using now..
now thinking wan to try two pair single or double voice coil and try it..
tried before JL audio double voice coil ..no bad..

when i asked the sifoos over at AW ICE forum for sub recommendations,

they suggest dual 8" woofers in free air for metal.

currently me using singer 12" for metal and its enough. actually need to retune my amp as its a little overpowering

EG-2000D is not only overpower for your single 12"
it may cause your sub kong as well..
i dont think 8" is enough for me...even 12" double magnet..i also like..fel nothing already...biasa...
actually...sealed box is more suitable for metal..but the magnet easily get over heated..like mine...( vented as well if i realy blast it) once it over heated, smell wil came out...
previous double magnet, it spoil coz i not slow down even though i smell something..and continue blast it..after few second..voice coil jam...

r u sure u tune it right? what about the subwoofer box spec is it correct?

the subwoofer box spec and so r provided by stellar...so i ned to base on the spec and make one.....but of course...the bonet surely wil full..it is V shape one...

i am not the one who tune it..my frd tune it for me....
regarding the box..i change for seven time adi..using the different box...customize box and so..sealed box(0.88 cubic and 1 cubic)..vented (>1.2cubic) ,some using the software to calculate it and try..connect to woofer using 8 gauge wire...power amp mostly r using 4 gauge wire...somemore wif kicker 2 way crossover only for sub...RCA all using mohawk one..

erm..i like the metal songs too..for me 8" BASS tube sub alreadi enough/solid....b4 this try dual sub 10" x 2 double voice..but too bassy...hve u try it?..8" sub

in tat case,change ur sub to SEAS SW300 n Tru hammer amp,definately u will be satisfy.

8"? no ned la..if 8"..i dont think 2 pair wil be enough for me..anyway..there r tons of fake thing in the market..

may be i should try fit in two pair double magnet double voice coil inside my car..ned to add on about 4k...

u should ask from one who using it now..
and i not sure about those brand..
but here my advice..
there got alot of fake soundstream..hardly to differentiate it even compare wif those original one, BM as well..this is my advice..buy from whom u can trust.

anyway, for example..
i tried before focal component..and i found that..the sound is slightly beter then mohawk top model..but the price alot different...
so brand is doesnt mater..

focal how much??..mohawk should be cheap..

coz i used this model before..i found tat..it realy terrible...and quite surprisingly after i heard from focal component( compare to mohawk). it realy disappointing me. Mb quart is ok..nice and currently i am using it.
