Yea, it is cumbersome to say the least. let me share my little experience whilst job-hunting in SG. To date i hv been offered jobs by 3 separate employer. But the other thing job seeker need to secure is SG rights to work -EP/SPass/WP. If your successful interview and subsequent signing offer letter falls into the service sector, the 'rights to work' apps could be rejected out-rightly. Hv a read here...
