QUOTE(celciuz @ Oct 26 2017, 08:24 AM) Or are you referring to the rainbow effect under fluorescent lighting (eg. car park)? If you referring to the wave... as in when you see through it will have lines/waves of distortion then that is workmanship issue. Not the rainbow effect... Is the lines/ waves of distortion in certain area. When there is a car in front and you see the front car car plate. Will see line/ wave...

QUOTE(Kuniang @ Oct 26 2017, 08:32 AM) To be sure, if your just got this tint less than 2 weeks ago, give it time to cure. Any distortion after a good baking in the sun for a couple weeks is worksmanship/film problem. Be careful when driving at night with this Yes, first tinted is after 2 weeks not enough sun bake and go back re do 2nd time. 2nd time now is less than 1 week, sun bake few days and found the issue same. Is it Normal must to have sun bake for 2 weeks ?

QUOTE(celciuz @ Oct 26 2017, 08:40 AM) That is workmanship issue. I had my windscreen installed 3 times... first time had the wave you mentioned, 2nd time got dents but no wave, third one... got minor waves but I gave up ._. after 2 years or so then I claim again. Sure the shop will tell you it will go off after 2 weeks... but based on my experience this round, its workmanship and does go off one. I see, the wave is disturbing... What is your tinted brand ?

QUOTE(Jack Eye @ Oct 26 2017, 09:53 AM) Im using Vkool as well (V Kool 55) on mine. I can tell there is no such wave/distortion as u say. But last time on my Wira, i faced this wavy scenario (mid range brand tint). Brought back to shop and the sales guy agree to change it immediately. Yes, wonder why ... mostly workmanship ? Tested civic Glenmarie test car with ecotint also nosuch issue.

QUOTE(Jack Eye @ Oct 26 2017, 10:56 AM) Mostly would be workmanship or the Film itself was not in good form prior to installation. Yes...now thinking how to solve it. QUOTE(isr25 @ Oct 26 2017, 10:59 AM) Workmanship as well as incomplete curing I guess? Don’t hear any complaints from our members using VKool - other than the occasional smart tag issues Maybe, just would like to know what is other members Vkool Package price ?
