TCP? me on 80% highway drove 150-180km/h from Shah Alam to Kuala Terengganu only got around 450-500km only for 1.8  sweat.gif

Speed of travel does affect the fuel efficiency. A quick reference would be the dynamic fuel efficiency bar 0 - 40km/L on the dashboard indicaator. Constant speed of 110 - 130 km/h would yield an impressive result of 18km/L and above. And yes, it can reach mileage of ~650km from one fuel tank for TC engine. Trialed and tested by myself. Result may also varies if there are mountainous road along the highway or just mostly flat land.

Overall, it is a very efficient car. I am still impressed by it. Haha. biggrin.gif

Is it just me or does our turbo engine feel out stamina on really hot days? Today is the second time I encountered this. It was about 35-37 degrees outside (based on the temp indicator in the meter) and the car has been in the sun for 1.5 hours. I got in, started, switched the AC to 21 degrees and drove on normal mode. When I reached the highway about 5 minutes later, I felt like the car was struggling to get past 100. I had to push it harder to even keep up with a Vios in acceleration.
This is the second time in a month that I've felt this way....both times after lunch on a hot day. No such issues in the mornings or nights so far.
Any thoughts?

Is your oil life nearing to service interval? A drop in performance can be felt when the oil life is about 2000km left...

Any change of Petrol brand, RON?
I noticed certain petrol station/brands gave slightly lesser pull power from standstill... not too sure whether it is a placebo effect.

Hello all have any one of you face this issue before?
When selecting the music icon, the display on the dashboard is in infinite loop circle.

I've tried reboot and reset HU, still same issue no matter which audio source I select.

that is some f-level manufacturing defect

this is totally not normal, doesn't matter how many people have the same issue
*
Well I tried to contact and made inspection with the warrannty claim supervisor. They denied it is manufacturing defect, hence I am asking here whether any one that has similar issues that I can make reference too?
I am extremely disappointed with the manufacturing quality.

I saw u just posted in FB.

This is not acceptable. Make sure u change ur light bulb to original halogen bulb (if), then go claim warranty from SC.

Shouldn't be a problem to claim

Thanks for the reply. It is 100% never touch any modification. Already tried sc, then escalated to Honda Malaysia. Still denied. Wth.

Pity you bro. It really seems like a manufacturing defect. Did the supervisor provide any explanation or accuse you of anything?

The supervisor reply in one liner. External factor. Which is totally unacceptable.

I'm confused. Can someone enlighten me.
My last service was 3rd August 2017. According to 2 Honda SC, next service is 3rd Jan 2018 but my calculation shows it's only 5 months. Shouldn't it be 3rd Feb (6 months)? Or my maths sudah karat?
*
Mine is even worse, 1.5TC. Service A on the first week of Dec 2017, 10k preventive maintanence on the last week of Jan 2018. The SC didn't lump the 10k service together. Adui...

Now was trying to do own calculation on how to lump the Service B together with the 10k service. Headache. Car is at 8.8k odometer now. Service B still have 5.5k. Any ideas how? Can I go in for 10k preventive maintence and ask the SC to just do service B altogether?

BTW, 10k preventive maintanence entailed with what parts replacement?

Hello all,
Maintanence Minder left 800km. was going to book a service slot but the earliest I can find in reputable service centre in klang valley is half a month from now.
Has anyone faced this issue before letting the minder to run until minus couple of hundred km?
I might face such issue and worry that it will damage the engine.

Hello all sifus,
My car lately has this weird behaviour on the electric parking brake system.
While on autohold function, usually if I unfasten my driver seat belt, or when engine is turned off the parking brake will be automatically applied.

But now, can't get automatically applied. Manually press the electric parking brake switch still works.

Anyone experience this before? Is there an easy fix? Would need to send it to sc if there's no easy fix. Thanks
