mine i noticed to have stone chips on the hood. and the paint layer seem to be thin.

Coating doesn't protect the paint from stone chip anyways... expected to chip when stone hits, it protects against scratches better than the original coat.
*
Yeah, i agree with that. Coating does not protect from stone chips. But i am quite worried on the quality of the paint itself. That's why checking with other owners is it normal?

We cant avoid stone chips especially when we often travel on highway with high speed. Mine also kena few on bonnet. I just touch up with Ezy touch up paint. Now can only see if very near. Mine Lunar Silver so not so obvious compared to other colors .
*
Yeah, trying just to ignore it. smile.gif
Btw, how is the Ezy touch up paint? Easy to apply?Did u use artist brush/different tool like toothpick to just dab on the chipped area?

Not the 2 color problem... is the wave / line distortion...
Is vkool elite brand.
*
Im using Vkool as well (V Kool 55) on mine. I can tell there is no such wave/distortion as u say.
But last time on my Wira, i faced this wavy scenario (mid range brand tint). Brought back to shop
and the sales guy agree to change it immediately.

Yes, wonder why ... mostly workmanship ?
Tested civic Glenmarie test car with ecotint also nosuch issue.
*
Mostly would be workmanship or the Film itself was not in good form prior to installation.

*

Call insurance and they jump start for me.

Back to service center they told me may be I not turn off the engine properly.

The service advisor told me if still got this problem again they will only check. 🤔🤔
*
I think i know what is the issue. Maybe you are not turning OFF the car completely. Notice dat u need to keep holding brake and press ENGINE OFF button. If not, you will be in accessory mode , meaning in ACC mode.

Which is the right way to turn off the car completely? Not by pressing the start stop button only?
*
This is what i found on the manual online for Start/Stop operation :
Attached File  2016_Civic_Owners_Manual__CivicX_.pdf ( 320.51k ) Number of downloads: 60
.Source : http://www.civicx.com

Need to Shift to "P" and Press Start/Stop button.
In my experience, without Shifting to "P", u can also Press the brake pedal and Press Start/Stop button to turn OFF the car completely.

Did you ever get this resolved? I've got the same problem too.
*
No, its not that significant until i feel need to bring to the SC. In you case, i feel its not normal as u said it jerks noticeably.

And on the arm rest, m sure its pretty solid right there, no movement even if u nudge abit.

Does anyone here get extremely poor radio reception?  Sent my car in for diagnosis but couldn't solve the problem.  The SA said it's a common complaint by alot of Civic FC owners so I wanna confirm if it's true or he just took the easy way out.
