hi guys....I've just got my white civic TC last week. m wondering if this model you can adjust the auto headlight sensitivity. yesterday evening the headlight turn on even though the sun still bright. nothing on my dashboard covering the sensor n i hvent tint the car. as m driving I saw a civic TCP with headlight off. I've googled n checked the manual n it seems that there is a setting for this. but when I check mine under the lighting setting there is no headlight sensitivity option.I only have:
1. interior light dimming time
2. headlight auto off timer
3. instrument illumination sensitivity
4. headlight integration with wipers

so is it this option only available for TCP? thanx

hi thanx for the reply  .the other civic i mention has totaly no light turn on n we r on the road driving.there is nothing covering the sun that time.it was a TCP version. btw even turning on the small light manually will turn on the rear light as well right? this is wat i did when i cant turn off the light...but that civic has none.no front n rear light.only brake light  ...btw  2day is a very sunny day. 6.40am n the lights were off    anyhow, i asked my fren dat own a TCP model. it seems like he has the option on lighting setting " auto headlight sensitivity"  and he sets his on min.no wonder the civic i saw has no lights turn on bcos they can set it to min.

I thought you were doing it at some exhaust shops where they joint and weld some custom tips in place. The bends might not be optimal, but you get the looks.

It might not be the end of the world by doing what is done, there are many various things that needs to be banged and knocked about if you decide to change it in the car. Speakers for instance also require some banging on the original mounting holes if the magnet is too huge. You just need to get over it if you want the looks at the end of the day.

Not sure how it is but looking at the pix from other regions, it looks your option opted for the shortcut route but cutting through sheet metal to line up the exhaust tips with the bumper?

Also, if it is taobao. The main question here is whether their stock muffler is the same as ours? If there is a variation then it might not line up in the first place at all as a bolt on part. Just throwing some ideas out.




This however is some total fake tip nation. You get the faux tips but the exhaust still point downwards. Hilarious, but if for looks. No harm done i guess. Also, being a singaporean unit. Hopefully it does not differ too far from thai and our units.

Anyone know how to set the auto light sensitivity? My headlights are coming on even when its not so dark outside and its kinda annoying I dont see the menu to change it, only Interior illumination, light off timer etc.

just check with one of the seller . current rebate up fo 8k until 31/5 . before gst 0% announcement, the highest I can get the rebate rm4.5k . wondering if worth the wait or not until 1/6 possibility gst 0% + raya promo .

Maintanence Minder left 800km. was going to book a service slot but the earliest I can find in reputable service centre in klang valley is half a month from now.
Has anyone faced this issue before letting the minder to run until minus couple of hundred km?
I might face such issue and worry that it will damage the engine.

Hi guys..been using my new Civic for about a month now and it has been great so far but has anyone experienced that the keyless access being rather insensitive? I have to put my hand in several times before the door unlocks. This is intermittent but it is rather annoying especially when it's raining and the doors don't unlock when it is supposed to

going to get my car next week. do we get spare key with full fuctionality like the main key? Is there any case like lock the car and key inside and cant retrieve? if there is, can bypass use spare key?

Guess the frenzy of sales kicked in after 1 June as expected. Chose Modern Steel Metallic since I wanted a colour change after driving a Black car all this while and White although I love it best on the Civic will be hard to maintain. And I felt there are many Silver cars on the road. Lol.

S mode, use steering pedal shifter will get your car in manual mode. To go back to normal mode, hold the shifter 5 second.

I just know that we can straight go S from D while moving haha.

It changes how sensitive the auto headlight is to ambient light. For instance my windshield is tinted so the lights come on even when it’s evening and it’s still quite bright out. The owner’s manual also said it should be present. Wondering if someone with 2017 model can check if this is present on their HU setting

Fuuhh really? When did you get your car bro? I recall seeing people talk about auto light sensitivity somewhere in this thread before. Well glad to know I’m not the only one with this feature missing lol
