yes the fender panel need to change, as well as front bumper to replicate the looks, in order to compensate the imbalance look for wide side fender, u need a wider side skirt as well. Type r is running on wide bodykit and the overall width is even wider than current gen CRV.

sometime they setting up very high expectation, this is god car, H badge and im paying >100k so everything must be perfect. cannot tolerate some little things, door rubber loose also complaint like engine dismounted from the bay.

personally, i fixed the door rubber issue myself, i agree the paint is prone to stone chip which i bought my own ez touch up paint, significant bumper gap, but other than that im okay. for steering rack, just replace it under warranty, after 5 years can change outside and cheaper 

Nothing wrong with the mentality which to set ur expectation not so high, because in the end its up to u.
I'm with him on this, never set the expectations soooo high.

Besides, anything that being mass produce is prone to quality issue.
Not to say I'm OK with a low quality parts, but sometimes its really a matter of luck.

The warranty offer is basically to cater this quality issue, because any brand even continental is never perfect.

Live with this fact and u will be more happy.

you know what, i appreciate 95 positive things in this car rather than focusing the other 5 negative things. i read all the review and complaints before i get this car and set my expectation right (like possibility of having rattling sound, boiling water sound, steering rack, fuel pump etc), until today i haven't facing that issue yet and because of that im still happy and enjoyed every moment driving this thing.

i feel and understand your frustration, but other brand suffers more.

I start 1st 

Speaking from experience. I really felt that FL's quality is dropped compared to PRE-FL.

I bought PRE-FL in the year 2018 and the car was stolen only after 2 months of driving.
After completed the insurance claim and so on, after 1 year of hiatus, I have decided to buy FL -> 1.5TCP as I really love the car.
I am actually impressed with Honda Sensing + the 18" Rims + PS4.
But, on the other hand, only after 1st week, front sensor spoilt
After 2 weeks, sound coming from dashboard + steering
After 3 weeks, both frond and back right absorber have knocking sounds.

atlast my car is here =D

for me just back absorber send back to warranty.
touch wood others are ok so far.

the SA said if I book a civic tc now, will only get in Nov. is that true?

No, for me i did not hear anything .
SC asked me change absorber and claim warranty.

I just want to share my experience. I got my new TCP black.

First things first, when i talked with the SA, i asked him if he has stock and the color i want. He said yes. He rushed me to test drive the car and make the booking. We agreed on the extra accessories and he promised some free gifts. I had all my documents ready and the loan approved literally next day.

Few days pass by, turns out he has no stock and the color is hard to get. I kept asking when can i get it. He kept saying "talking to my manager / boss to get the car for you". 2 weeks pass by still no car on the horizon. He told me "maybe middle of september - october".

I fed up and went to other dealership. The other SA had black TCP on the spot. He called the bank to change the dealership on the loan. The bank called the first SA that i want to change dealership.

Suddenly first SA got the car and panicked out, promised the sun and the moon just to stay with him. Few days later i got the car.

Man...

I arrive to take the delivery. Only half the things he promised, the extra accessories are missing which i payed for (doorstep illumination, dashcam etc). And the car had a scratch on the fender !!! It was a very sunny day so it was screaming at you - look at me i am scratched. I told him you have two options, i talk to your boss about you or you go and get everything DONE.

I went back few days later everything was done and finally got it.

I had almost same experience before, parked my car and eat at roadside restaurant, noticed a car parked behind my car, driver still inside, 1 guy aligned and walked to side of my car, standing there and holding some device.
I sensed something was not right, immediately I walked towards my car, the guy standing there panic and quickly ran back into the waitng car and they speed off.
after that incident, I installed padel lock immediately.

I just realized last night on my left rear bumper got hit by someone. 
How to repair damage like this? Touch up or have to sand it off and repaint that whole lower part?

I paid booking fee yesterday, so pray for my loan - TCP white
