QUOTE(0501024 @ Aug 15 2018, 02:37 PM) just did my first 1k service (which was only replacing the engine oil), is that correct? i was expecting oil filter/engine oil at least. you have to follow the maintenance minder since your car is the turbo version..unlike the 1.8, just follow book which is every 10k km..then the servicing gut told me dont need to follow the mileage service interval like 10k/20k etc. just come back when the indicator light A or B lights up. anyone else can confirm? as for me i would prefer to keep to the service booklet interval... but wonder if new cars interval depend mainly on sensors and indicators |

QUOTE(Beach_Boy @ Aug 16 2018, 11:21 AM) there's an upgrade on the front subframe, at least from what i read on civicx forum does using the rigid collar give the same effect?you can get the nuts and subframe set for civic type R and install in normal civic, supposedly to give you a stiffer front end for a more direct and darty driving feel |

i think u cant compare straightly like that..a 4k price increase is from tax holiday period..
during gst period, the base price for 1.8 is 109.747-40 this is without RM50 number plate, RM279-60 for road tax, RM300 registration fee, RM50 endorsement and RM3k + insurance.. therefore i think the price is lower compared during gst period..however, no pricing detail has been uploaded yet in honda website.. |

QUOTE(matrix88 @ Sep 1 2018, 06:59 PM) I was told the vouchers given actually is a type of introduction fees (Commission) to the SA, you will be able to get lower price without the voucher. I confirmed when approach a tinting shop. hahaha last time my wife works with proton dealer..those days salesmen love to give tint voucher and so on..but when my wife bought her car, the salesmen got the raytech cs tint done for her..the price my wife pay is way much lower then the tint voucher they gave lol..so i suspect the tint cost is not so much actually thats why they can give u 5 years 7 years 9 years warranty.. |

QUOTE(zeroimpact @ Sep 7 2018, 04:59 PM) Was at the RFID fitment center and I asked them. what if those rfid user doesnt reload their tng e-wallet? same story right..Based on their answer, smart tag sales has already stopped by them. All system will be replaced by RFID, at least the smart tag lanes. Is it true or not... I’m not sure, it it does seem like a good move. At least with this we just need to deal with idiots that forget to reloads and eliminate those that does not change their batteries |

QUOTE(Kilohertz @ Sep 18 2018, 08:24 PM) less pickup and power due to the cvt gear..if i could turn back time, i would pick the 1.5 turbo version..no need to rev until 4k rpm to feel the power..overall it is still a nice car to drive..This post has been edited by Asus: Sep 18 2018, 09:49 PM |

QUOTE(QuickFire @ Sep 18 2018, 11:46 PM) So many posts in the last few pages complaining about rattling noises. Wonder if I should reconsider getting this car... the rattling sound only occurs when u go thru uneven road..most of the time u will not hear it..heck even vellfire also got rattling sound when i rode last time..This post has been edited by Asus: Sep 19 2018, 08:15 AM |

QUOTE(zeroimpact @ Sep 19 2018, 08:40 AM) Mine the rattling sound is 90 percent of the time. Coz a little bit uneven also will sound like the shoplot area. That’s pretty annoying. ouch thats bad bro..mine only few times and only on uneven kampung road or construction area..most of the times no rattling sound at all..But of coz all cars will have good and bad. You have to manage that yourself. For me I just think Honda could have done a lot better. Even the doors are moulded very rough, with very clear welding seen. |

Hi just now my wife sent the car for normal svc and rotate the tyre and do alignment balancing..just now she told me that the steering lari a bit..
Just wanna know if we go outside doing the alignment, does the car need to buy the adjustable screw at absober and adjust chamber the usual trick by tyre shop? |

QUOTE(KnightSports @ Dec 26 2018, 11:27 AM) If they can find some camber screws that can be installed to sell you, i want too. so meaning there is nothing they can sell to me la..u know la the tyre shop everything also they wanna change and charge lol..This setup practically has no adjustments between the knuckle and the strut hence there is no such thing as camber bolts on the FC's front end. The only way you can adjust the camber is through a pillow top mount with machined out channels for camber and castor. |

QUOTE(KnightSports @ Dec 26 2018, 11:33 AM) Ask them show before and after camber angles if they want to sell to you. ok thanks for the infoIf they can make it move, i'd be happy. I want to know where is the shop too. Apart from buying some crazy expensive camber arms to do it, it cannot be done just by a swap of camber bolts. I trust your SC also did not take the car out for a drive after alignment, that is why it is not straight after rotation of the tires. It might have worn down more on one side compared to the other. |
