so last friday sent my car for service and they mentioned steering rack need replacement.

today got call say sudah sampai, will need to leave car overnight to repair.

i did ask if the rack was a known problem for civic, whats the diff if i replace now and problem occur again in few months? i was told its a different model number altogether from the one that comes originally. is this true?

vibration in seat? no wor...  constant vibration or intermittent or random?

hmm no vibration but i do realize the aircon fan is much louder than before

First time around 15k km , second time around 40k+ , third time 50k+. Lucky I closed with Honda SC, claim process can finish within 1 day. ( check and replace same day ). The SC gave me other waiting list stock first.

Mine also kena rear passenger side, after  nearly 2 years. For few months i drive like old car, klunk klunk. Lucky able claim warranty, was like RM500 a piece. I ask them why can happen, they just told me 'biasa la'

Bought the car at year 2017, might be the time my steering rack start to show some symptoms of failing, but it comes and go, some times ok some times is not.

your car same like mine change auto tensioner then they change aircond compressor..the new aircond compressor is noisier when they kicked in..i didnt actually noticed how it sounds before but i think its quiter when the original factory fitted..
