Hi fellas, a question for those who are using pedal brake locks, especially if you're using Locktech Thailand. Did you guys install just the mechanical version, or did you enable the connection to the immobilizer as well(double lock system), which means without unlocking, you can't start the engine altogether?

As mentioned by jackytiong below, there's two steps for the lock, one is physically on the brake pedal, and another locks your ignition. My question is, anyone using the ignition lock as well? And any known issues on the civic if it's in place?

I read on facebook civic group on issues such as one user not being able to start the car at all, to a point of not being able to release the electronic parking brake, and had to resort to calling HIP.  Another case was reported by a Honda SA from Ipoh, where she said a city came in due to the harness wire and fuse box burnt because of the friction of regularly pulling the lock, repairs costed 2k. Another case was from the same lady, which said a CRV got towed due to engine shut down because of brake lock.

Just got my car yesterday and immediately installed Locktech... working fine as my previous city(2) and mazda2.

The new improved version comes with a safety mechanical button behind that u need to pull together with the lock in order to lock the brake.

Remote start works as well... no way of trying to start the engine in locked mode as you need to press the brake pedal to start it...

Btw, mine was done without removing any panels... a 15 min installation thing, i'm satisfied!

Anyone installed the LED side sill plates at accessories shop? Will they remove many panels to slot in the wires? Easy to damage the brackets?

I noticed my AC unit is very inconsistent.

I usually set it to 23.0 C, sometimes the air that blows out is not cold at all, it’s just air and that’s when I already tune the temperature to Low.

Then sometimes when it’s at 23.0C with 1 fan, it will be cold af.

So far can’t see a pattern in it, it’s very random like it has its own mood on whether it wants to be cold or not. Outside temperature doesn’t seem to be a factor as well because sometimes when it’s cooling outside, the ac will be hot

Anyone experiencing this as well?

If you get it done by Honda, no in package, side step + sports pedal + some thing else, the price is about

Side step = Around 800
Sports pedal = around 200

Don't so fast say, after wait one week come out then you know.

No dashcam records 24 x 7 one la. Only got parking mode which records when it detects a knock or something.
