QUOTE(isr25 @ Dec 26 2017, 09:43 AM) Usually, just leaving your car out under the hot sun for a few days will remove the ants Technically, infinite geara due to the CVT, but the Civic has 7 virtual gear ratios Pls teach hw to use cvt efficiently haha, i think im draining it like its a 2.0 car π

QUOTE(celciuz @ Dec 26 2017, 01:33 PM) Just drive normally like you do, enjoy the ride . My car is about 10 km/L on normal ride, its a 1.5... but now holiday smooth traffic about 15~16 km/L. So it all depends on your route. The other time I drove down to Muar through AMJ, was 20 km/L. Haven't drive obediently on PLUS yet hahaha but was about 15~16 km/L the last time I did ... But should yield about 20 km/L I guess. Yeah the fc actually similar to my previous civic 1.7 QUOTE(mistamalique @ Dec 26 2017, 01:41 PM) Hi, finally got my civic X 1.8s last thursday. QUOTE(isr25 @ Dec 27 2017, 12:04 PM) Did you park under a tree or something? I kena ants before on my old 2006 Honda City, because I brought rambutan from my in laws back home, and there were lots and lots of ants with the rambutan. Had to leave the car under the hot sun for more than a week before all of them ran out / died. Luckily it was the hot season, not rainy season like now. Even if have eggs they will still die/migrate? No i never bring food into car until now. Stil new less than a month old oni This post has been edited by f5calvin: Dec 27 2017, 12:17 PM

QUOTE(JshyanL @ Dec 27 2017, 12:39 PM) Happen to my previous car. I bought those powder type poison for ants and apply it on every corner of the car, bonnet included. Problem solve. QUOTE(MsianGuy @ Dec 27 2017, 04:43 PM) Go for car wash and vacuum the whole car. Put the ant-powder and let the ants crawl and bring this food to their family members. Hope it able to solve. I did that yesterday, after clearing their nests 2 times, and the bait, i find no more huge group of ants with eggs, only 1 or 2 stray ants that probably havent taken the poison. Phew, what a relieve.

QUOTE(shinchan^^ @ Jan 17 2018, 02:17 PM) I think after 1 day they infected my car, i saw the queen n killed it. Ants din know what to do and died soon after. So probabaly due to 2 reasons, one is the ant poison, another more likely reason the queen died alrd.

QUOTE(KnightSports @ Apr 14 2018, 08:04 PM) I guess you gotta state your budget. Else, something like blackvue? Pretty discreet but not wallet friendly pricing. Oh ya maybe within 1.5k. Front n rear cam preferably.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « QUOTE(KnightSports @ Apr 15 2018, 06:41 PM) Of course you can find some china mari ones for less than RM500. But, you stated a pretty high budget. So, i just muttered blackvue without thinking twice. I got mine, 1 channel installed a lot of years back for RM1.2k plus. Can't remember model name, very basic HD only recording ones as i did not want a screen to attract people. Did not opt for all the add-ons and i recall the 2 channel ones for a little over RM1.5k back. Currency exchange and GST might have played a hand in that one, my bad on it. If you don't need the integration of a dual camera system. Opting to buy two separate dashcams are ok. I once found a dashcam that looked like a fat bullet in garagesale which went for RM150, it was meant for rear use and without a screen but i used it for the front. It could possibly be used with something like a Xiaomi Yi cam or Transcend units and it would not break the bank. Can't find the link no more though. Thanks for the recommendation. Might just go for the blackvue, eat maggie first haha
