QUOTE(jamespaul @ Dec 23 2017, 12:11 PM) Try this. You wont have issues with JPJ and glare My friend brought direct from Japan, cost rm2xxx, no glare and you can see the bulb when turning on..even halogen your eyes gets pain when look directly the filament...but the price very costly compare to C6 LEdhttps://www.osram.asia/am/ecat/NIGHT%20BREA...at/ZMP_4054436/ If you were to install HID, you will get stopped by JPJ and burn your headlamp cover (long run, the headlight lens will turn yellow faster too). Also, you will be glaring everybody If you were to install LED, you will get stopped by JPJ and lose brightness, LED on halogen reflectors or projectors are not perfect. Also, tons of glare. |

QUOTE(vez @ Dec 24 2017, 03:23 PM) somehow Honda claimed, 1.5TC seems more fuel efficient than 1.8 If drive under 40% of throttle, the FC is like 1.5 engine, if above than that, even worst than my fortuner 2.7...5.8 litres / 100km for 1.5TC (17.2 km/l) 6.3 litres / 100km for 1.8 (15.9 km/l) i believe Honda tested both 1.5TC and 1.8 in the same way so they came up with this data anyway in the end all depends on driving style But who buy the 1.5, susah to keep slow slow..because the feel of stick on chair is poisonous |

For better FC, keep the Cvt in D mode (Not in 7speed mode), D mode the cvt will keep the smallest ratio even smaller than 7th gear and keep light pedal..

QUOTE(Jidins @ Dec 31 2017, 04:40 AM) Hi Sifus, Like that you need 1.5T, more advance technology that can withstand few years...Got a few question, just got my loan for civic 1.8s approved. Since currently no stock, and now in waiting list maybe can get end of January 2018. Is it worth it to get 2018 civic? Since Ive heard there will be alot of new electric cars in 2018-19. When its going to be civic facelift? Any rumours on it? Any useful guide to know roughly how much is the expenditure since I might be using it for work (100km daily)? (oil, maintenance, stuff) Now with the current economy (personal economy, married) im thinking 18x to take this car. Electric car, hmm even jazz/city hybrid not so good sales, full electric car still very very far away... People always and always scare the battery, 2nd hand value must cheaper than normal petrol car.. If want play hybrid car, can wait for 2nd hand city/jazz..and the cost of replacement battery is rm5k+ without labour |

QUOTE(yjeen @ Jan 1 2018, 10:25 AM) Hey All, Totally hard to different 2017 or 2018 made...the SA can fool you say this is 2018 made but give you 2017 made and registered in year of 2018..Happy new year to ya all. Hopefully will be joining the civic family soon in January. Just a question, since Honda is having CNY promotion with rebates now on 2017 (RM 4888) and 2018 (RM 1000) models, worth getting the 2017 model since there is no changes in terms of specs, design etc? Also, let's say i opt for the 2018 model, how would i know that the car is really 2018? Does it mean that the car was registered in 2018 and we are ignoring the year it was manufactured which could be 2017? THen how about the cars for 2017? Slightly confuse there Thanks |

QUOTE(cryptchid @ Jan 5 2018, 11:47 AM) Happy new year folks. wah so good ah you.. this need ketuk ketuk simen and repainting... mostly can done below rm200While driving to work on the federal highway this morning an aunty happily ploughed into the back of my car. The bumper held up pretty well, and the damage didn't look to bad so I just waved the aunty off after asking her to be careful when driving. I had another look when I arrived at the office and noticed that the boot lid is actually bent (pics below). Where would be the best place to get this fixed? Honda or any other body shop? Thanks! |

QUOTE(wkc5657 @ Jan 5 2018, 02:33 PM) To be exact, the turbocharger starts spinning the moment engine is started and exhaust starts producing. Just that the boost isn't much and not at the surgeline (the rated sweetspot for effective boost). What you see in the spec sheet is the peak torque produced at which rev range. for me just stick what user manual said, if 0-20 cannot provide good protection, then pour in SAE 40 la, kompom protect...nowdays engine oil not like old zaman, you see the amsoil, they making 1yr or 20,000miles engine oil... |

QUOTE(DM3 @ Jan 13 2018, 09:03 AM) Just do 30k km service that without changing engine oil... Engine oil is depends on 6months and the oil life monitor..If want change the oil + preventative maintenance is +/- 3000km... So if you at 30k km service and your oil life still got 4k km to go..then just do the service without changing oil |
