Found this URL link from HRV recall news. Guys, you might want to check it out. Apparently some Civic 2016, are affected. Click bottom left (List of affected cars) to check.

AFFECTED PARTS:
Engine Components
Please confirm the status of your vehicle using the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN / CHASSIS Number).

I think this is related to the 3 way hose thingy. Affected owners should already get their letters to replace them.

Coating doesn't protect the paint from stone chip anyways... expected to chip when stone hits, it protects against scratches better than the original coat.

For those of you using dash cam, do you plug it into the USB at the front? I'm usually using that for Android Auto so not sure where to plug the dash cam.

Yeah, i agree with that. Coating does not protect from stone chips. But i am quite worried on the quality of the paint itself. That's why checking with other owners is it normal?

Correct, the general perception is coating is a thick strong layer. In reality it's no more than tens of microns thick.

Use the 12V DC Plug aka Cigarette Lighter plug. Normally dashcams would provide the adapter for it.

Ya is easy to apply (Paint then followed with clear coat) They provide brush in the bottle and another very small brush like toothpick.

No matter what you still have to touch up to avoid rust in that chip area.

First few days heart pain to see only lar.. after weeks.. i don't even care and notice anymore.. lol..

The black tint on top, at the back of rear view mirror - is it advisable to install Smart Tag?

Can it get detected at the gantry?
