Sold my stock standard launch unit 2016 Civic 1.5 TC-P for RM83k at a used car dealer in JB. Thank you for all the memories Civic FC! And with that, I should no longer be the TS as I don’t own the FC anymore. Hope somebody here can step up celciuz liked this post

QUOTE(Micky78 @ Jan 30 2022, 02:26 PM) Satellite blinking - GPS not able to get a lock. If you just turned on or at underground / covered area, it is normal. If driving on the road for 5 minutes already, but still unable to get a lock, it might be a concern. |

QUOTE(ry8128 @ Jan 30 2022, 03:02 PM) Anyone already started servicing your TC/TCP outside? Once the oil is changed, will the oil life reset to original value? Or it must be resetted manually by honda SC guys? Can reset manually. On HU - Press home -> select settings -> press vehicle settings -> scroll down to maintenance info and press it to select it -> Press reset.A screen will pop up asking if you really want to reset it or cancel. press reset and that should do it. Likewise, your maintenance minders should be gone and the oil life should read 10,000km. |

QUOTE(alconritter @ Feb 13 2022, 12:13 AM) My gear was at P, engine off. I was just trying to remote start it after parked overnight. It did successfully start the engine (can hear the engine sound) but it only lasted for 1 second before dying out. When I went into my car, everything was still off. Sleuthing on the net revealed that this issue is most likely connected to the battery. Try driving around first, then park normally. After that, try remote start. If it works then, it should be your battery is not holding the proper charge for remote start.Around 7 months now. Yes. So far no other problems. I have tried remote lock, unlock, release trunk and all are working properly. |

QUOTE(hot_hunt @ Mar 2 2022, 09:47 AM) sit in my friend FC, his seat belt reminder is a lady voice to ask u fasten the seat belt instead of ti ti sound ...anyone know how to set it? Not sure what model is your car, what year, or even this is applicable on the facelift. Previously on the 2016 launch model, only TCP has this verbal reminder. To turn this on/off, go to Settings, System, Sound/Beep, Verbal Reminder. |

QUOTE(tinkerfy @ Apr 21 2022, 10:53 PM) I went to do 1st service today. Asked the SA about changing another brand of battery from outside. He said 'It might affect some sensor warranty if install outside.' Wonder if its some sort of scare tactics. Change later la… why change if new car? Waste of money only. Wait 1 year or until they advise to change. Battery is considered as consumable, and can change outside. No issues with warranty - never heard declined warranty due to change battery outside |

QUOTE(Jitty @ Jul 19 2022, 05:01 PM) I rmb claiming warranty for my steering rack took me 2-3 weeks inside honda SC. Not sure - if it’s a hard to reach place, I would imagine so. But steering rack not sure why 2-3 weeks unless they keep it for “investigating, claiming, waiting for parts, replacement” all-inFor changing of wiper pump, do I need to put my car overnight ? QUOTE(ry8128 @ Aug 1 2022, 07:08 PM) Good idea, didnt think of that. So basically is something like our laminated roadtax supported with the roadtax sticker right? I am personally using this product for my family cars. It something like a hard plastic to stick the RFID to, and the decal itself to stick the rfid + plastic to the inside of the windscreen. |

QUOTE(ry8128 @ Aug 1 2022, 07:40 PM) Thanks a lot! So your car do not have any issue with the rfid on the inside too right? Top left corner too? So far I only kena once where it did not detect - I was admittedly driving a bit too fast through the rfid lane Yes, on the inside, top left area. I suggest, if you want to stick it in the inside of the wind screen & have the rfid already, just activate it, but don’t peel it off the original plastic just yet. Have another person in the front passenger seat and ask them to hold up against the windshield area where you want to stick it. This is done as a precaution as some tint (notably VKool) does not play nice with rfid. This post has been edited by isr25: Aug 1 2022, 11:28 PM ry8128 liked this post
