Guys shares sob story and video of his car engine exploding in sunny weather when Honda says it’s because of Water Hammer effect (Google it) thus not covered under warranty. Guy says “not been modified even a single screw”, but kantoi with sticker of tuning shop and a few people go into detective mode and got his car photo in tuning shop above.
Hahaha, uncle Khong ah? But... that unit is a lunar silver right? Plus that one the grill is the front open design type to reduce heat soak. Doesn't match la. But the car that blow engine was using standard front bumper with lip, while this is the Si bumper though. A bit different in terms of the outlook, unless the owner decided to downgrade Si bumper to lip only.
The fact that the original poster deleted his post & the tuning shop also deleted all FC related tuning posts kinda proves it was true.
Hi guys, the civic iluminated sidestel they offering is 4 door ilumination or front two door ilumination, im asking the one that offerred by original honda, not OEM, thank you
I talked to the dealer owner itself lol! Maybe you need to go to your preferred dealer to prebook as well?
This was what I did during FC launch too. I prebooked on Jan 2016, they launched in June 2016 with the confirmed price / variant - I just update them what variant + colour, finalise the loan and I got the first batch - 1 week before Raya 2016.
Likely around 160k to 170k, FL Civic had a major delay here due to the tax structure thingy...(using less local parts than they supposed to) so I'm thinking the 11th gen might be priced that way too.
Not likely that pricey. They will kill off the Civic market in Malaysia if they do - similar to what happened to both Camry & Accord. Even the Mazda which is CBU tops out at 160k. I'm guessing the most would be 145k.

Guys, I desperately need help here. My 2016 civic 1.5tc has no beeping sound when I turn the blinker & also no sound when reversing & no seatbelt warning sound. I took to honda for warranty claim and they rejected me due to aftermarket wirings for lighting accessories in the car. Worse part is my warranty ends next month, September. Any suggestions on what should i do ?
hi guys, went to change tayar today. Salesman say VIKING tyre is come from the same factory as continental factory. using same material and technology but without excessive marketing and hence the price cheaper.
is that true?
anyone using viking tyre so far? quality ok ?
Same group of company (viking is a brand under continental), but different tyre formula / target group. Dunlop & Sime tyres are also under the same Continental group.
simple layman term - coca-cola is the main company. a&w root beer is a sub-brand owned by coca-cola. both soft fizzy drinks are manufactured in same factory, but both caters to different people.
