why the price announcement still delay for new FL? anyone has any news?
*
through research i have seen the launch for Honda cars is usually made at least a month from the Open for Booking date. at most is 3months which was the HRV.

Honda civic facelift was opened for booking around 10th september , so assume to wait at least until 10october

1. My Civic just 10 months old and the battery already gone case! Have to tow my car to service centre and waiting 2 days (checking and testing) before got it replaced. I really upset with the procedure to replace it.
2. After replaced battery, now the steering problem. Whenever i turn right, i can hear "kek kek kek" sound. Anyone facing similar problem and what to do next?
*
Any idea how the battery relates to the steering?

hey guys i need some advise,

i still comparing between 1.8s and 1.5TC

since highest spec only add-on LED and build in GPS
so not in consideration.
I can use phone carplay to use wave to navigate.

1.8s worth or not?
I am not mind fabric seat, for me fabric more comfort.
- just smaller size of rim
- paddle shift look very low usage for most ppl
- Premium Interior Garnish (anyone have image for the different dashboard or explain the different, i haven't go to sales galley yet, sorry)
- price got different
- but the horsepower different very obvious?

Please advise. Thank you
*
I assume you are referring to the pre-facelift. I ill suggest you to reconsider on the facelift specs smile.gif

The facelift is confirmed to have the below, Ill just mentioned the new stuff:

1.8s (Targeted to people who looks for best value)
1. Rear chrome line
2. New front bumper
3. Front sensor
4. Updated soundproofing
5. Foldable 60/40 rear sears
6. Auto wiper
7. new rims (personally i didnt like 1.8's new rim design)

1.5TC (Targeted to people who looks for performance)
1. Updated leather seats, (just checkers pattern)
2. LED head and fog lights
3. Lanewatch

1.5TC-P (and all the features above)
1. Black colored front Grill
2. 18inch tyres (Michelin probably)
3. Honda sensing
4. Tailgate spoiler

Same as you, already paid for booking, car plate, and even done my puspakom car inspection to prepare transfer my car ownership as SA asked me to complete these as soon as possible.
and SA previously said mid of Oct sure can get the car.
Now even the SA also diam diam liao... and tell me they also dunno when is the launching date, KL headquarter also got no news.  doh.gif
*
My SA oso said the same but now diam edi

I guess
1. Probably something wrong is happening internally or
2. Honda didn’t bother about ppl jumping ship. The value of selling civic 2019 in november/december which is 1 or 2 months away from 2020 is far more valuable than losing october customers.

High Likely Honda already knew ppl are moving to toyota corrolla, mazda or any other newly released cars

Honda Malaysia already said this year won't launch CIVIC FL and new Accord. I suspect January baru release just like last time with their HRV.
*
Do read the article. Honda officially mentioned release date is Q4 2019.

Hi eager future civic owner. I have a few questions. Kindly help me out hehe
1. Should I wait for the latest facelift civic or get the current pre facelift version
2. Will the current civic be discounted since the latest one is releasing soon?
3. If I purchase the current civic, will end of this year be a good deal ? Considering the reg year will be 2019 instead of 2020
Thank you in advance
*
1. I would wait. cause rumor says it’s coming out next week or at most end of nov.

2. yes. they are selling off all old stocks. colors would be limited so u might wana look for ur preferred color with different sellers/branch

3. Mayb. rumor says the new civic might get a increase in price. New cars usually have less to none discount. Plus, it would be a 2019 registered car with 2 or 1 month left before 2020 so consider urself to have lost 10months worth resale .

TC hot GPS or not? I already booked tcp, but i also worried it’s not suitable for malaysia road. Besides mat rempit always hit your side mirror and that sensor thing not cheap

Plan to ask my SA to downgrade to tc
*
only tcp have gps. but You can use Waze with android or apple carplay

note that both tc and tcp have lanewatch side mirror cameras if u are afraid about your side mirror being knocked.

I thought lame watch comes under Honda sensing suite that is only available on tcp? 🥴 correct me if I’m wrong
*
Not really. Lane watch can go alone .

Before Honda sensing came in, previous gen Crv had Lane Watch only.
Furthermore, Honda’s deck for facelift civic have confirmed Lane Watch and front sensors are now available for both TC and TCP.

Don’t be sad but sorry to know if u had issue with your car . All brand of cars have their own issues.

Toyota owners complaining bout Toyota cars.
VW owners complaining bout VW cars

It seems like every Civic have a lot issues because that’s the point of having a forum. People come here to see if others have similar issue and if they can solve it together. While some others whom doesn’t have any issue with their Civic may not even bother to visit this forum. Though some do come here to contribute. 😛

I think the question at this point is really what time NEXT year its coming out, agree with your logic here but maybe got miracle haha

Really hope its not any later than March 2020 haih
From a business standpoint its unlikely they purposely announce it then refuse to release it for so long. I feel its likely gov issues like some had said

Just hope its really not cuz gov force Honda raise the civic price to over 20k extra like some of the "info" provided previously said, sien la if that rlly happen
*
just hoping they start selling it now, then start manufacturing on early january for people to receive it in January.

Based on the features deck, the Facelift ver of TC model have almost equivalent features (+ front sensor & lane watch) with the 2018 TC-P.

if the price do increase, I am personally ready and assumes the Worse Case for getting a 2019/2020 TC model is paying rm131,883 (2018 tc-p otr price) plus few thousand ringgit more (for the 2019/2020 model new features). On the other hand the best case would be the deduction of price from depreciated value of typical technology and features/equipment.

The facelift ver of TC-P’s price will probably have the biggest impact on price cause its got a list of new stuff especially Honda Sensing, bigger rims, and a spoiler.
