My car just around 2 weeks, drive 3xx km showing 3.8k oil life

- new car never drive speed above 80kmph
- don't hard accelerate
- no oil leak

is it normal or Honda skim on my engine oil

My car just got stolen this morning, near Jalan Kuching/Jalan Ipoh, KL area I parked outside condo overnight, and it was gone in the morning.

My car plate number is V1091, Silver TC-P, mostly stock. Tyres are PS4 Michelin tyres.

Getting stuck in traffic jams causes the oil life to decrease way quicker, as well as sitting in the car with the engine running.

But no harm in getting SC to check when you folks take your cars in.

When your car is out of the dealership, it never gets 10,000km

By the time it shows any mileage left to oil change. It is likely in the 5,xxx KM range at best. Mine started at 5,500 KM as soon as it shows if i am not wrong.

I've heard a customer complaint at SC after 2 month of owning the car saying she didn't drive anywhere except for school runs and the car instructed her to change oil which coincidentally was around her 1st service.

I asked the SA i knew who was nearby at the time and she told me the customer actually sit in front of the school in the car daily almost 1 whole hour before waiting for her kid to come out. 2 months worth or roughly 40 hours of idling. Hard to say unless someone does the same and leave their car idling for that long and see if oil life counter deteriorates.

Can check your door rubber seal. Some ppl will install rubber seals on their cars that doesn’t have good noise insulation

I found that fuel efficiency was better when the ECO mode is off and keep driving at higher speeds, with gradual increase, not sudden pecut. Driving slowly is bar for fuel efficiency in this car. Maybe the max engine efficiency is at higher speeds.

Passenger side not much noise for me for the time being.

Yea, last time my Vios have bad sound proofing. i seached quite alot about it, rubber seal can sound proof until certain extend. Can actually buy the rbber seal from lazada,etc. easily install urself onto the doors.

if the rubber is loose or broken, it could be the reason why you can hear the noise.

How did you guys utilize the compartment near the usb port. any tips? or sharing ?

It feels so empty and i have no idea what to put there. If i put my glasses and stuff there, i scare those stuff will fly off when i brake my car.

And the small corner on the driver side. its so small i have no idea what it can hold.

Damage? No. In fact is the other way around, wrap is actually another physical layer on top of the our thin paint, so it actually protects the paint underneath. Wrap is not sticker, no glue will damage and peal off the paint, for example, wrap can only apply on smooth surfaces, most plastic trim area can't be wrap.
However color wrap does not self heal like paint protective film, nor have the hardness value like 8H, 9H of paint coating, stone chipping damage on the wrap is unavoidable.

There are only 2 factor that determine the price, first is the costs of the wrap material itself, will costs more if using the branded ones, like 3M, TeckWrap, etc. anything like unheard China brand wrap is not recommended as the color fades very quickly, some say within few months will show symptom, whereas branded ones will last for years. The other factor is the workmanship, mainly the experience they had with wrapping materials and tidiness of the seam trimmings and quality work they provides. The expensive one that i installed does comes with free adjustment or little touch up as long it doesn't costs them more material. The more reputable ones are normally better, those bad ones can clearly see ugly connection pieces, ugly cuts at edges.

I've taken out the wrap in some panel and rewrap it, when pealing off the wrap, it came off cleanly and the paint is still like brand new.
