If you open door, you can be careful yourself as much as you can to prevent any mishap. Having protection don't really mean you can just slam open your door without consequences.

But, seriously those tubes are not as elegant and most of the time you can notice it. The other method is to find those 3M clear vinyl films. Thickness you decide because the thicker it is, the harder it is to prep and stick it on door edges.

The main worry is actually more on people dooring your car. That hurts more than scraping your door on a curb or scratching your door edges against a wall.

You also can only protect only so much because not all of the times it is going to hurt your door edges. There might be times that something like a short enough pole or something in the way of your door and you open to strike it in the middle of the door panel. That is not something you can avoid.

I can't see anything wrong but a big reflection

Just visited Dent Repair Malaysia in Puchong earlier to fix few dents on the door. Very professionally done. Recommended if you need to fix minor dents due to other people opened their door too wide.

It must have gone through the base coat in order to get rusted. The panels now received very good anti-rust treatment and it is very rare to see rusts forming on bare exposed metal.
