Do you have itemized details in the quotation? For normal services, an oil change using fully synthetic 0W-20 oil and a new oil filter wouldn't typically cost more than RM250 unless there are plenty of added items into the list.

Yeah basically it’s oil and filter change, inner engine cleaning. That also had free labor due to the 90k free service

A normal oil change service within Klang Valley outside of Honda service centres would cost less than RM200 I believe.

RM 120-ish for genuine Honda OEM 0W-20 full synthetic
RM 30-ish for genuine Honda OEM engine oil filter
RM 20-40 for labor charges around Klang Valley

Fuel tank capacity for civic is 47 litres. Assuming we're pumping RON95 at the current ceiling price of RM2.05 per litre, a full tank would cost you around RM92 ~ RM97.

As for mileage, very much dependent on how heavy your foot is on the throttle, frequent idling and city/highway driving. In ideal 100% highway cruising with little to no idling, civic 1.5 can easily get upwards of 700km for a full tank.

oh i see thanks but maybe its time change my habit of driving LOL.
Full tank for me around rm71.00 as i wont wait empty fuel.

Yes its 47 litres, but why when i fuel it from empty (2km remaining), it only fuels up to 40 litres? Where did the 7 litre go?

Empty doesn't means kosong

The 1st post got say there is left over 7 liter even when you reach 0km

That is basically running on reserve

New fuel pump don't like being run dry

I had tried an experiment before where if you had refilled 40 litres of fuel into the tank and the pump at the gas station clicks, it actually just means that the tank is almost full and the fumes had caused the pump to deactivate itself as part of the failsafe mechanism. However, I did try pumping at a slower rate afterwards which doesn't trigger the failsafe and I actually managed to pump in an additional 2 litres before actually seeing the petrol almost overflowing out of the tank.

I too believe that the tank was engineered to somewhat contain a few litres of reserve for you daredevils that drive it to the last remaining drops.

Side note, keep your fuel pumps happy. Refuel much earlier and never let it run on fumes/dry.

Hey fellas, having upcoming maintenance.
Honda just scolded me for having low mileage (2,900km) and the car is 1 year old.

Feels like so much potential in the car, but no opportunity to utilize and drive to all the beautiful places sad.gif

Basically saying i should use more often, not good for car to sit idle, battery wont recharge properly, short trips are not good for engine - things like that. I understand but MCO, how and where to go bye.gif
