Just asking. Folks, people are not into Elantra nowadays? Anybody has test-driven it?

** I'm still sticking with my Civic 1.8S. But just wanna chit-chatting here. The car looks gorgeous, for me. The Elantra.

It indeed is a good looking car but considering civic has better resell value, cheaper service price, easy to mod. I will still pick civic if let me re-pick again.

How can it possible HIP 2x more expensive? You mean same insured amount .. HIP RM 3k while non HIP RM 1.5k?

Etiga is also Honda insurance Panel. Try to get a quote from Honda HIP for Etiga.

i just renewed my insurance HIP Liberty Insurance 74k 55% NCD + 2k windscreen RM 1,295... means if i renew outside i can get RM 650?  brows.gif

Bro do you know which HIP branch got Etiqa? Or any way to check this? AFAIK each HIP has different insurer but I don't know how to check which insurer they got other than call them 1by1.

Nothing to do with branch. HiP is a program where they partner up with insurance company. So calling a SC ask for few quote and insist for Etiqa

If SC say HIP no Etiqa means they trying to steer u to other insurance agency which got commision dealing with the SC/SA., Then call another SC. ;-)

Ahh I see. Dint know that. Does this mean HIP is a centralised thing where every branch supposedly should get the same quotation results and same choices of insurance company? Sounds like I got cheated when I bought my car sweat.gif They told me only got liberty and Tokyo marine etc those expensive ones when I asked for takaful/etiqa

Thanks for the information let me ask around!

I noticed Etiqa has something similar to this now saving up to 2.5% a month if you drive less than 400km a month so you can get up to 30% rebate after a year which makes me lean towards getting etiqa over hip. Not sure if this will be available if I get Etiqa under HIP

to me, i feel they just claimed before warranty
my car is Dec 2017, Honda SC claimed battery for me on Dec 2018, and use until now (although since covid MCO drive 60-70% less) same Panasonic sweat.gif
just went SC last month, i asked about battery health, they said still good biggrin.gif if not mistaken this claimed battery already have ~35,000KM mileage (~15,000KM is on the previous)
