I believe you guys have changed the wipers on your Civic already right? Pls recommend some really durable and good performance wipers.
*
Save money and just change the rubbers on your Civic wipers. It costs less than RM20 if i’m not mistaken.

Honda stockist or service center.

Worth to buy now if order place now and car come at December , for 7k+ discount?
*
Really it's your call tongue.gif to me the normal discount is already about 5k-6k. If you're ok with just an additional 1-2k discount for a year end car, then it's ok la. To me I'd rather wait for a new year car.

Only RM 20? I went to Honda Stockiest @ Paramount and was quoted RM 80 just for the original rubber. Whole set will cost near to RM 300. Which stockiest RM 20? Mine going to change soon.

Thanks

Wait for new year is better cause it'll help for the resale value. 2017 car RV and 2018 RV is different yo. If you don't plan to sell it in future, ride sampai rosak...then better to get it from the year ends sale.

Ha3! Last I changed the rubbers was back 6 years ago iinm on the old FD2. The price was indeed around RM20 for 1, less than RM50 for both. Maybe the price increased somewhere along the way.

No need the full set wiper la, unless yours somehow gets stolen. If your wiper start streaking, just change the rubbers. Good as new.

Hi Civic Sifu's

Sorry to ask this, but need some advise.

Getting my Civic TCP next week. I'm thinking of putting a car pedal brake lock, any suggested brands or shop to go for?

When did you place your booking? Just want to know current waiting period.

Thank you

Been bothered by the rattle noise from the dashboard for too many months. Initially wanted to send to SC to get it fix, but then heard they will dismantle the whole dashboard and take few days to find the issue and get it fix, so decided to DIY.

Google around and found out there were 2 main causes of the rattle noise
1. The cover under the steering wheel is loose, i.e. not firmly attach
2. The driver side cover of the dashboard is loose

Mine issue is due to #2. After open up the cover, I discovered the clip pin is broken and therefore it constantly hit the cover (rattle noise) when the car going thru uneven road. I removed the clip pin and since then no more rattle noise rclxms.gif

My poor civic got bang today. Just to ask, should I go Original sg long Honda body repair or normal body repair shop?

Question in my head:
1. Does outside normal body repair shop fix will void warranty and Honda original body repair shop will not void?
2. Is the sg long Honda body repair shop (beside Honda 3s SC) under Honda company?

Claim insurance - always go for Honda body repair. They’ll change to ori Honda items.

Pay your own - up to you. It’s not so much warranty or not, but how sure are you they will use original Honda items and not OEM items hmm.gif

Not sure. Is it your own fault or the other party? Normally even if claim your own insurance, might not be that long actually. Around 1 month including waiting for the parts?
