QUOTE(vinod1992 @ Dec 24 2017, 01:16 PM) Guys , I filled up 4 litres oil yesterday and my gauge did not come up so i filled up another 3 litres today and same thing happened however my distance counter was reducing as usual. so i got frustrated and i filled up 12 litres again and the meter came up as usual .Is this usual for honda 1.5 tc ?? ....Oh the initial oil remaining was 88 km and it was reducing to 83 km after i filled up for the first 2 times I don’t think there are any such car fuel tank sensor that is accurate enough to detect such a small amount of fuel difference So ridiculous to put in 4 litres of fuel bro, even motorcycles fuel up more

QUOTE(jamespaul @ Dec 23 2017, 01:11 PM) 1.5 = ~12km/l (based on three different cars) 1.8 = ~13km/l (based on three different cars) Also, it depends on your driving style. if you do a lot of highway driving, the turbo would be better. If you can afford it, get the 1.5 turbo. somehow Honda claimed, 1.5TC seems more fuel efficient than 1.8 5.8 litres / 100km for 1.5TC (17.2 km/l) 6.3 litres / 100km for 1.8 (15.9 km/l) i believe Honda tested both 1.5TC and 1.8 in the same way so they came up with this data anyway in the end all depends on driving style This post has been edited by vez: Dec 24 2017, 03:24 PM

But who buy the 1.5, susah to keep slow slow..because the feel of stick on chair is poisonous

It’s much more accurate to test that way rather than fuel up 4 liters and compare on the meter. Where got such people do tests that way

QUOTE(jamespaul @ Dec 23 2017, 12:11 PM) Try this. You wont have issues with JPJ and glare https://www.osram.asia/am/ecat/NIGHT%20BREA...at/ZMP_4054436/If you were to install HID, you will get stopped by JPJ and burn your headlamp cover (long run, the headlight lens will turn yellow faster too). Also, you will be glaring everybody If you were to install LED, you will get stopped by JPJ and lose brightness, LED on halogen reflectors or projectors are not perfect. Also, tons of glare. The FC is using H11 halogen yes? Means I can only use the night breaker unlimited not the laser, yes? Asking because I want to change the low beam too.

Hi all,
Have a question about Siri-Eyes-Free (SEF) and Voice-Recognition-System (VRS).
I'm using iPhone and is connected via bluetooth (Honda handsfree link). Whenever I press the [Talk] button on steering, it always enable Siri Eyes Free. How do I active the VRS?
Based on the Civic User Guide (page 29x), it stated that to enable VRS - press and release [Talk] button... I tried numerous times and just not able to active VRS. It always active SEF. I even tried the other method, i.e. press & hold [Talk] button.. but it's just the same that it activates SEF.
I even deleted the HU bluetooth connection to iPhone and tried the above methods. But when press [Talk] button (either press release or press-hold), the HU will ask for bluetooth connection. Without one, it will not proceed further.
Anyone know what's the trick to enable the VRS or SEF? Thanks.

QUOTE(isr25 @ Dec 25 2017, 11:44 AM) Sorry, what’s the difference between the 2? SEF is basically iPhone Siri, with that you can ask Siri about weather, time, go Home (Apple Map), create event, send SMS, make call, etc . All these commands are related to iPhone capabilities. VRS is basically commands for HU such as turn on radio, active Navigation (Garmin app) and go home, etc. The function of SEF & VRS is to keep our eyes on the road while driving, yet able to safely operate iPhone & HU.

Connected via BT means Siri is now available, but not necessarily is the only one option when [Talk] button is pressed. BAsed on the user guide - page 29x, we have the option to either activate SEF or VRS. But I only once able to get VRS and the rest of the tries we’re always SEF, even after I rebooted HU & iPhone the result is the same.
