this is for japanese markets.. softbank@vodafone.. Suppose to be named as Softbank 705SC rather than Samsung 705SC..

the colour white 1 not bad.. i think this model not in malaysia shores.. only in Japan atm..

yea, it's a rare phone.. but it will work in M'sia

yea.. work in m'sia coz its unlocked and support GSM network.. so far i dun recall theres any Samsung model in m'sia same as urs..

the keypad no lines to separate the keys 1 wor..

hmm.. still thinks that D900 is better..

d900 is samsung high-end phone while this is mid-end.

No dust and dead skin will collected under the keypad loh...

i saw this phone in magazine.. just now just read. lol, no wonder i thought, hey this phone looks familiar. and yeah, the mag said it was the 3g version of d900 or something like that. the phone was shown in CEBIT ( i duno lar, maybe not cebit... blurr) btw i like dis design more than i like d900.. heh.

yea.. tats wut im thinking also.. not bad wor.. but hard to feel the keys if dun have the separating lines.. need the TS to explain more bout it..

I tried pressing same kind of keypad on other phones.
Feel like touching on a plastic plate...
need time to get use of it...

hey ts ur phone is cool!!! keypad w/o line seperating them is cool !! dat makes the phone looks more classy ! how much u bought the phone ? is the price almost same as d900? i wonder which 1 is more expensive as 3g vs 3.2mp

believe me the keypad is very easy to handle.. it has enough tactile to not let me miss a key.

i will probably keep you guys updated with this phone's specs later on..

Just a note, i have compared this phone to my friend's D900 and they have exactly the same dimension.

The phone does come with 4 preset main menu styles (or themes?).. Menus are animated. It does support custom ringtone for messages and caller id. mmm... fire me with questions if you like.

lol yesterday i searched for n73 on ebay. the same seller's selling this 705sc... means its quite easy to get, coz thats the first seller i went, and he already had this phone.

well.. this phone is confirmed not available in M'sia markets la..

some model like samsung using softbank name engraved on the phone sounds nice.. some jpnese model phones if engrave the softbank word sounds sissy..

wad i was trying to say is , IF this phone is available in malaysia market , i wonder which 1 is more popular ,3.2mp d900 or 3g 70sc . I really love the keypad w/o line seperating each key . looks very stylish !!

btw , when u take a photo with this phone , can the the phone save the photo directly to memory card? coz in d900 cannot if im not mistaken

i think d900 more popular lor.. coz specs wise d900 wins.. design wise this 705sc wins..

blackmarket, you can save the photos directly to memory card..

i reckon this phone is unique and it solves some of the limitations of samsung d900.. i prefer its design more than d900.. one of the reasons i picked this mobile over d900

eventhough the specs arent as good as d900, i will also prefer this phone..

hehe... the phone (counted the softbank 709sc) comes with 6 colour variations - white, red, silver, black, purple and pink.

this phone got 4 colours only if i not mistaken.. pink, white, black and biege.. forgot oredi..

quite nice..... design looks like d900
slightly lower spec than d900

now all phones are white

this phone is only available in Japan SoftBAnk phones list.. but if u want i can special order for u but it will cost a lot for the insurance and postage.. i can get white colour only for now..

eh....this 705sc is much much better look than D900. At least its straight line body.

yeap.. this phone more good looking than d900 i have to admit.. er.. actually all japanese phone are more good looking la..

i think so.. coz i check both model same design and specs basicly the same also.. juz like wut LittleMin has said.. juz the HSPDA differ only..

When I look at the pictures of this phone again, it looks more like Samsung E250.

Anyway, I won't be getting this phone because there's no warranty for a phone that cost more than RM1000.

i sold many unit 705sc... its a great phone and the lcd screen is very clear and 3g call also cannot been compare with nokia phone...

i heard tat this phone can only use mp4 instead of mp3 as ringtones n only those which downloaded from internet can be used, is it true?

not sure bout this but some japanese phone cannot support mp3 ringtones.. 3gp videos can be suopported as ringtones.. acc and m4a also can(i think)..

i have not been able to get my mp3s to play on this phone. Probably no support for mp3 ringtones. I heard protected mp3s work on this phone.. but have not given it a try.. I am determined to switch to LG KU990 Viewty

maybe only those RAW or Licensed MP3 might work..

i'm currently using this phone(709sc) .very nice looking and good function.but the prob is,can't send mms and can't use hotlink easy menu.(*100#).the 3g function i think only for video calls... . for mp3,i think have to use the original licence one..have to convert to mp4 or m4a or aac 1st to hear.. btw,anyone knows how to install application or games to this phone??
