Heres mine, 3 weeks old MacBook Pro. Been using those two desktop preference every now and then.

Kenn it depends on the size of your MBP. I reckon yours is the 13", so the best resolution you could get is 1280x800.

useful information in regard of obtaining a cool customize desktop based on your on preferences. I myself did this, and managed to obtain a satisfying one at first attempt. |
