IINM, the silver/grey mentioned is actually the white. There are only two types of tips out there.

2 whatsapp is simple with note 8, coz it have dual messenger, just switch on it can have 2 whatsapp,
then go secure folder to add another whatsapp. then u will have 3 whatsapp running at the same time.

so far no encounter problem, so at least its a feature that utilise the phone advance hardware.

I don't think it is a reject set from SME but more likely SME don't have enough stock to distribute and have to import existing pre-packed stock from another country hence the original seal with different wordings.
The reason why they cut the original seal and reseal again is to insert the local IMEI sticker into the box.

Then again this is just my theory.

The unit from Premium Gadget was registered with MCMC on 05/09 and the unit from Doughnut (double seal) was registered on 11/09.

Mine is the other way round, Premium Gadget registered 11/09 while Doughnut 8/09. Maybe shouldn't worry too much, as long as physically the phone is ok, and under SME warranty, just enjoy the unit.
