thanks for the thought.. will consider bleeping out names, even though it is very generic name and location 🙏

hah don't underestimate the capabilities of online detectives nowadays.

also some owners might not be happy if you share their house photos (security reasons) so do ask for permission if want to share.

hi, just wondering how do people ensure the plaster ceiling is even across the whole stretch, do you guys use some sort of measuring tools to ensure they are flat? some places the ceiling itself aren't exactly 100% flat so how do you guys adjust them?

also for cutting light holes, how do you ensure they are in light with each other? so they look neat & evenly apart?

If I'm doing plaster ceiling 6", can I fit 12cm led downlight? how much clearance required?
*
flat downlight normally requires 3"-5" clearance so with 6" you should be able to install most integrated downlight without issues.

how much weight can the sheetrock take without sagging in years to come?

integrated downlight don't need any additional support or brace right?

what about hanging lights & ceiling fan?

nowadays the golden standard for installing the aluminum supports is screw in no more punch or using plug? what screw size is reliable?

hi, it did not explain how to properly mount the supports for ceiling fan & heavier hanging lights.

also the aluminum frames are screwed onto the ceiling? what size of screw is recommended? i hear punching is stronger but not allowed to use due to the danger of nail guns.

it also didn't really talk about clearance for downlights but instead talk about cassette type aircons.

also what is the smartest way to hide the 6" aluminum duct from hood to duct?

is water sealing the plaster boards not recommended as was told if you seal it you cannot cut it open later.

Which is better to use for L box light.
T5 led or led strip?
*
T8 for easy replacement on bulb.

T5 & LED Strip when replace have to replace whole strip/casing.

only good thing about T5 is you can easily daisy chain few T5's in series and more compact but since they are for L Box you won't be looking at it.

when you go for L Box, have you consider about dust build up & cleaning?
