i am thinking of western union too , but i not sure how does it really WORK .
dear sir , what you mean by cannot transfer into your account ? if cannot transfer to my personal account then where should i transfer my money using western union ?
i wish to have a better safe and official way

what i know is that for WU usually the recipient has to physically come to collect the money in cash - this is what i mean by not "INTO the account"
when I worked in Brunei, I asked around and found a few money changer outlets that also runs official money transfer service to overseas. I could have transferred officially through my bank (BIBD, at that time), but the rates are noticeably worse than what the money changers offer.
if you do go the same route, always make sure the money transfer service is official, eh... unlicensed/unofficial ones may be raided, or worse may runaway with your money. IIRC a couple of years ago, some of the expats here suffered the first case. they transferred their money through unofficial channels. yes the outlet was very trustworthy, but it just so happens just around peak time, the outlet was raided by officials. some of the big guns transferred money more than rm 20k (/k salary, no less!!!) and it was still processing, so their money went into LIMBO...
