In your router you might be able to do that. Normally the part named QOS

depending on the router you are using. Some router allow you to prioritize based on IP. So you can give your sister a fixed IP and put that IP to lower priority. Though, this feature is not available on cheap routers or those from ISP.

Do comment to let me know what information needed for this help pls. Depends on your router. What are you using? There're a variety of ways. I'm using Mikrotik so I can do something like: 1. Set 2 queues. All ethernet connected devices to q1 and others to q2. 2. Set a speed limit for wifi so everyone using wifi only gets 10mbps. 3. Even simpler, limit your sibling's device speed to 10mbps. and set yours to infinity. etc...

I was wondering about this as well, but my router apparently sucks at QoS.

The best solution is upgrade your unifi speed, no more to argue about the internet issue again with your sister.

Do comment to let me know what information needed for this help pls. Get yourself a decent router like TP-Link or Asus or D-Link which are way better than Innacomm….. In those routers, they have MAC filtering & QoS. You can configured your MAC address to have the highest priority in the QoS setting page.
