My company just pinjam me an iPhone 5 - work purposes.

Here is the issue

iCloud - ex staff company's email
iStore ID - company general email

We want to removed the ex staff email. We can't contact her, she is out of reach, mobile number changed and even moved to JB.

So as I was searching Google, how to removed iCloud account, I stumbled upon Apple page saying do a "update & restore". It will remove the iCloud account. So I give it a try. and nope sadly, it doesn't work.

Now I am stuck at the activation lock page and require the ex staff details.

We tried using the "forgot password things"
- We get the email right, first question it ask is birthday. We get it right.

Then the next question pet's name & dream job, there is no way we can get that right.

My question here, is there anyone out there can help me reset the phone, or even do a clean wipe. If reasonable price we will go for it. If you know someone who can help us reset it. Do let me know - urgent!

only way is show proof of purchase to apple service center

company phone? receipt? bring back to apple service with proof of purchase and ask them to reset

there is no other way unless you can get the ex staff password

She didn't let us know the password, at first I thought simple forgot password can sent to company email. Then we can ask IT to manual reset and put new password

even if there is 3rd party reset service, the cost will be more than buying a used unit from mudah

don't understand.....icloud link to staff's company email, eg currybun@taliban.com.my
ask IT to reset email password for currybun@taliban.com.my
then, apple ID, put forget password, send to registered email, currybun@taliban.com.my
then, click the link, create new apple ID password
then, do a hard reset, wipe off everything
