I'll be moving to landed house soon and found out that maxis fibre and astro iptv available in that area.

I also willing to change telco to maxis if there is all in one promo package to subscribe to maxis for better value.

Currently using 50mbps Unifi Hypptv + celcom + Njoi Byond HD (RM232.15 + RM85 + RM0) = RM317.15

Anyone can recommend the best package to take? multiroom option? Did you getting cheaper zerolution buying iphone by subscribing to maxis broadband / fibre?

Can i still use my old Byond HD decoder for multiroom option?

Avoid Astro IPTV with maxis if possible, service for your broadband is going to be bad, anything support need is going to take a long time to respond especially if your area maxis is running on TM unifi infrastructure. Call Astro, astro>>maxis, maxis>>TM.. headache reporting and get issue resolved.

+ price is bad

My experience with astro iptv with maxis for 3.5 years - not bad services except damn expensive ISP price.

Now waiting to downgrade to satellite and back to unifi for isp.

You're forgetting that people with satellite having no TV when rain. Yes i have 50mbps unifi but then hypptv channels no way as good as astro. I have kodi, cloudtv, terrarium and all that still cant even smoothly watch simple channels like travelHD or HGTV or E! not to mention astrosports / skysports / beinsports / ESPN / foxsports.

Internet speed is not everything. Take a look at these few 4K movies status im currently torrenting from my synology NAS, very poor download speed and some not even moving.

What i will downgrade when i subscribe to astro iptv with maxis is the internet speed to 10mbps

I think it is best you stay put for another month, and see if astro iptv will react to the current internet price cut.

Otherwise, when you go for astro iptv, you will be paying
10 Mbps, 20 Mbps and 30Mbps for RM148, RM198 and RM248 respectively
