I just bought Macbook at PC Fair today smile.gif
Being a long time windows user, MAC is totally new to me....

Hope you people can help if i have any prob with my MAC.

Anyway I bought RM5,299 with the following free gift :
a) Ipod Shuffle
b) Wireless Mouse
c) Macbook cover (the black ones)
d) keyboard protector

and I bought it from machines.com.my booth...tq to Joel Lee for great services there smile.gif

welcome...let's shake hands. being a new user myself (just for a few months),
it will take some time getting used to osx. but once u got it, it's easy breezy...hehe, but i still need the right click though...

Search GOOGLE lolz.. a lot of freeware which is useful!

Some recommendations include
wahh.. this one is quite useful for beginners >> KeyCue (it shows all the shorcut keys available for speedy use of OSX smile.gif

Onyx >> System maintenance
AppZapper >> Uninstaller, removes plist files and bla bla
AdiumX >> MSN Messenger replacement
iSquint >> Good video converter if ya have an ipod


Pay-ware (or whatever u call those)
Crossover >> Use to install some Windows programs which are not on mac, but which u need for work, studies, or what not
Photoshop >> u know wat laaa
MS Office >> u also know wat... (can try the Neo Office.. it's freeware)

A lot larr... just searh...

some cool forums around also, i like to look around at Insanely Mac forum...

All my Windows friends are MAC users too. They have to know their Machine Address Code or else they can't go on the internet.

Any 'sane' person who comes to AppleByte should know Mac here refers to Apple Macintosh, and not the techie MAC address people speak about when they talk about Networking, etc etc.

Do most people (I'm referring to those people who basically just use a computer without the need to set the system up) actually know of MAC addresses btw? I sure didn't in my earlier days but well, the new generation's getting smarter shakehead.gif
