Generally for port-in much easier to do a port to hotlink and then switch to ookyo. Because Hotlink you have to get from their dealer center, so they verify everything is correct on the sim side and you only have to answer those SMS to your old number. Then from there can jump to ookyo.

I am curious about the Ookyo unlimited 4 apps plan, I wonder if you select reddit or facebook that have build in browser and open a link, does it utilise the unlimited plan or just used up the 8gb given by ookyo?

Reports say using the unlimited. I haven't noticed, since those sort of browsing doesn't use much data.

But for those for whom it works (e.g. myself, also others here on this thread) it's great. So much data, and the cheapest way to use Maxis' line (still the best coverage once you take into account congestion, IMO).

Obviously if I had the same problem you're experiencing with 'base plan' I'd be super pissed as well. Do complain to MCMC also. But take note that most would not encounter such a problem, and that if got no technical issue this is one of the better low-cost options.

For oldman. I think yoodo will be good. You can remote control the line for add on n change plan by log in the app using id n pwd. No need sms . Not like Hotlink

When you get into Maxis pay..use wifi.. After successful paid..use data..

ya totally fked up. when under grace period and no wifi access. it is impossible to reload money using the "grace data" they should have make ookyo app internet free and maxis webpay dataless for ookyo user. even umobile grace data have better speed than maxis.

Most telco did not have internet while in grace period. Include digi n hotlink

Hotlink CLAIMS to allow free access to their Red app. In my experience doesn't work.
