planning to port in from digi but the number is registered under my mom's name long time ago. will the port in be successful as the ookyo plan is under my name? any idea? read the below from FAQ - seems like it won't work?

When signing-up for ookyo, select "Current Number" then provide your port-in details.
Make sure your port-in details (Name, ID number) exactly match the details you're using to register for ookyo.

my unlimited voice/sms has expired 1 week ago. forgot to topup. how come i can still make calls after expiration?

in ookyo T&C, it clearly stated mobile number will be cancelled. for such termination cases, usually the mobile number cannot be reused anymore.
not sure who can help you to retrieve that number.

switched from celcom to ookyo since dec 2018, never look back. now porting another number from digi to ookyo.

i have 2 ookyo numbers now, anyone knows if i can transfer the wallet $$$ from one to the other? the feature says it's coming soon, but when??

don't see any details on the RM 6 unlimited calls replacement? any idea how's that going to be in hotlink red?

What is the voice call & SMS rates?

Enjoy a flat rate of 15sen/30-sec & 15sen/SMS to all local networks. Video call rate is the same as voice call rate. Enjoy Activ10 rates to 10 Hotlink/Maxis friends with rates of 6sen/30sec calls and 1sen/SMS. To add Activ10 numbers, dial *100# > Hot Deals > Activ10.

mine too, but it does not matter anymore, ookyo is gone next month.

i'm porting over to yoodo by end of this month.

it's all depends on what you need.. i really need to make calls, so Red is totally unacceptable for me.
going for redone amazing38 -- 8 GB data + unlimited calls, lose out on the Red's Non-Stop Social which are locked down to 5 apps and not customizable like ookyo..

BTW, got a call from hotlink staff today, offering me limited-time only for ookyo customers...

She said the offer is valid for today only, coz i asked her to call back next week (for me to do comparison first), but she said no more offer for me after today. so i declined the offer.
Plan 1: RM 40 (NP RM 50) - 8 GB + unlimited calls/sms
Plan 2: RM 50 (NP RM 60) - 20 GB + unlimited calls/sms

Both plans have discount RM 10 off (according to her la) for 12-months period. i don't find these plans in hotlink websites, but looks similar to Postpaid Flex. Just FYI, in case you got the call and wondering if you should take it or not.

ported out to yoodo last week without issue, although i had to top-up min rm5 to send 1 sms

check your app if it's showing you as Active? if not, you have to activate it again, that's how it works.. all telco only allows MNP if your current account is active and zero outstanding balance.

Actually, your account must remain Active throughout the MNP process, not just during request for MNP..

You don’t have to lift a finger – just keep your ookyo active and you will be auto-switched to Hotlink RED on 21 January 2020.
