Nope..i think Ookyo still not enable sharing top up..either from your wallet or Google Credit..

All top up will be burn when you port out..either use it to buy add ons..gem..diamonds etc..the gem will continue in your game even you change your telco..

what a waste, i top up RM 100 that day to purchase google in app purchase, end up keep on fail and i use my cc purchase the deal directly before the deal expire.

they didnt manage to help me solve the problem with their AI chat & assistance and end up close my ticket.
Stuck the money there and it always deduct my monthly payment from auto payment CC instead of wallet.

not sure why they dont allow phone call to customer service.

What's the issues which cause you to port out (besides CS)? If line is good and speed is fast then got complaint meh?
*
overall is good just the cs not good.
in fact, speed is fast, coverage is broad and most important cheap.....

Actually the reason i port out is due to
1) i change accommodation and dont want to apply fiber internet so op for unlimited plan that i can tether to my laptop.
2) i travel monthly to neighbor country, thats why i need a plan to have free roaming package.
3) i might be changing to iOS soon.

overall just that their CS is really sucks and ookyo app not mature yet. Other than that, maxis line is one of the best in term of coverage and quality in Malaysia.

notworthy.gif thanks for your review. I'm a long time U/Digi user now fed-up with connectivity in my common locations, so been hovering around here planning to port in for a while di (waiting for credit to run out).

Of course I will port to hotlink first before doing ookyo based on other advise in this thread!
*
i did straight jump from umobile to ookyo, really nice jump i would say, now im at digi, i miss those 4g+ network i get from Maxis. speed is fast and even underground parking, lift and indoor i can stream youtube facebook video no effort at all. really nice network.

Hey, thanks for your review! How long did it take for you to port out of Ookyo?
Also, does porting in from Digi prepaid mean I would have to wait 30 days? Is that why others from the forum are suggestion Digi -> Hotlink -> Ookyo?
*
hey, is been few month since i port out to digi infinite. actually i'm going to port out to maxis or back to ookyo. lol
first you need to ask the telco to send port out request, after that wait for your new telco sim arrive and everything should be done in 3-5 working day.

digi indoor coverage is really bad, sometime inside my house got emergency call only. lol what a joke.

Oops, seems like your experience with Digi is not a very good one. I'm in Penang and currently using Digi as well, so far coverage has been not bad.

I'm just really attracted to Ookyo's unlimited data for 4 apps and unlimited calls & data for RM 8, but mainly worried about the battery consumption from turning on VPN 24 hours. Did you experience a noticeable drop in battery when you were on Ookyo?

Also, I'm hoping the customer service has improved now, though still need to log a ticket for everything  sweat.gif
*
not sure why digi coverage for indoor really bad, fantastic at outdoor.
sometime inside mall, no coverage at all. even though at bukit bintang prime area. KLCC near taxes also no coverage.
sometime show 4g but cant load google search.

VPN is actually not much affect on battery, is just like dns server for all internet.
maybe 2-5% battery use per full charge, cant bother much.

Hmm that seems to be quite a trouble especially if you go there frequently.

That doesn't seem too bad. Guess I'll get one and use as a second SIM for awhile before I decide whether to port in. Do you happen to know if it's possible to register multiple SIM cards with the same account/email address? Since the first SIM will just be a new number for testing, and if I feel it's alright then will port in.
*
i dont know that, but i just didnt expect digi to have such big problem considering is so big present in the country. umobile i know lar

Both Digi and U are good.... in places where they're good. Unfortunately this isn't everywhere. Maxis and Celcom tend to do better (hence the price differential).
*
never try celcom, maxis is superb, no problem at all even in lift for 36 floors and underground parking.
so cool to watch video at lift with data.

1GB for RM7 (1 week)

2GB for RM3 (1 day)

500MB for RM1 (1 hour)

On FB they say 8GB will end after Dec.
*
so 8GB extra promo only can use till dec 2018?
2019 back to 5GB?

If you're 50% overseas every month it makes sense to have separate simcard just for overseas. I'm hardly overseas so I don't even bother to check ookyo's roaming rate, but my last trip I was still on digi. Best rate!
*
unfortunately i do go same country every month. so cant get a separate sim card, but digi was one of the best for SEA

It’s umobile for roaming at asean countries. Digi vowifi is roaming rate. But Umobile is local rate.
*
digi infinite roaming best. if activated 5gb+60min call free for the selected asia country. if one week at thai, one week at hk, one week at sg. all can be share the perk.

totally a let down
i get blank white screen when loading to MaxisPay page for topups... been days.
*
ya totally fked up. when under grace period and no wifi access. it is impossible to reload money using the "grace data" they should have make ookyo app internet free and maxis webpay dataless for ookyo user. even umobile grace data have better speed than maxis.

Most telco did not have internet while in grace period. Include digi n hotlink
*
Arguably the worst telco, umobile, are better during grace period. At least they think about it.
Sometimes, the telco just ignore and assume grace period user are not quality user. But they didnt know if we put bigpay prepaid card, they cannot auto charge. So caused so many trouble, they should have first reject the card when we added in the auto renew. Things got worst, when you want to remove the auto renew.

hey ookyo user, that day i raise the grace period payment issue (no data) guess what, i found another worst of ookyo. this is like 100x worst than that.

so i was oversea last few days, when back i found i had lost my ookyo sim card. the first thing i do is contact the chatbot & raise issue with airport wifi. then after some time later they reply msg (copy paste sop type). then after few round finally i go to press sim replacement. guess what, they ask for RM5 and ask me to pay before send the card. since i lost my sim card, i have no way to receive the tac code require by any credit card and online transaction. so i have to borrow others card to do the payment. then i have to wait for their slow delivery. right now 3rd day after payment, im still not yet received my sim and i cannot transfer any money and use my credit card online.

REALLY WTF experience. if other telco i would have had go to physical store to slove the sim card issue. right now im stuck at the delivery and i felt helpless. the CS say just wait.

This is what i worry most..the sim is missing..and need to get a new one..imagine the hassle to get the sim delivered..

The action is..get another sim..with just data..log in ookyo..request new sim..then come the disaster..waiting the sim to arrive..could be one day..or one week..or worst is one month..
*
this is exactly what im going through right now. make sure your new sim data last for few days, in my case 4th day today. and you forgot the most annoying part, you need to pay RM5 delivery fee for your replacement regardless you have how much money in your wallet. since no number so you cannot receive tac code, you need to borrow CC or online transfer from your surrounding.
