On my second month of using ookyo. If your usage mainly consists of the apps that are included in the plans, this will be a great plan. They have revised their prices btw. It's used to be add on RM8 for spotify but now it's RM5. I'm currently using the Social Pack(RM31.80) + Spotify(RM5) + 1000 calls and sms(RM8), which comes to RM44.80. The pack also comes with 4gb(used to be 3gb) data for other apps. Previously I was using Celcom RM80 postpaid. This costs a bit more than half of the celcom plan and works great for me. Oh ya, Lazada has offers on prepaid topup so you can save more too.

After your asked, then only I realized, . Social pack is direct charge to cc or deducted from debit card. Other than that can use normal topup. the topup is the same as hotlink. Only social/entertainment pack is charged with gst. Other than that no gst.

Hard to port out? Really? Damn. Already decided to port out. Haven't proceed with the porting out process yet tho.

The app is problematic. Have to keep turn on and off the airplane mode few times a day. But this might just be my phone as I'm using custom rom instead of official. Also the reception is causing my phone to heat up badly especially in 3g mode at my hometown. My brother who is using Hotlink doesn't have this problem.

I can watch on my phone up to 720p and it didn't eat up my 5gb quota. According to the announcement last time it's only up to 480p tho. The youtube speed is not bad as long as you're in a place with good coverage.

My brother is using Hotlink which is under Maxis. He doesn't have t he heating up problem tho. Technically since both of us are under the same mobile connection, which is Maxis. We're using same type of phone btw. The app reconnect problem happens in Cyberjaya too, which has excellent Maxis coverage. I put on VPN always connect previously, same problem too.

How many times do you guys have to put on airplane mode and off it and also reboot your phone? I only have to do it for more than 20 times today. 😂 Anyone facing same problem?

Yup. Even when I didn't move, was surfing the web on 4g then suddenly no connection.

My hometown Tampin, Negeri Sembilan. This happens at Cyberjaya too and Cyberjaya has great Maxis coverage. I think this is an isolated problem since I'm might be the only one facing this. Probably because of my custom rom or something else.
