Oops, seems like your experience with Digi is not a very good one. I'm in Penang and currently using Digi as well, so far coverage has been not bad.

I'm just really attracted to Ookyo's unlimited data for 4 apps and unlimited calls & data for RM 8, but mainly worried about the battery consumption from turning on VPN 24 hours. Did you experience a noticeable drop in battery when you were on Ookyo?

Also, I'm hoping the customer service has improved now, though still need to log a ticket for everything 

not sure why digi coverage for indoor really bad, fantastic at outdoor.
sometime inside mall, no coverage at all. even though at bukit bintang prime area. KLCC near taxes also no coverage.
sometime show 4g but cant load google search.

VPN is actually not much affect on battery, is just like dns server for all internet.
maybe 2-5% battery use per full charge, cant bother much.

Thanks, good to know. Shall give it a try personally as my second SIM before deciding whether or not to port over my number. Btw did they really check your IC for verification when receiving the SIM card? I read on the forum that some just receive like normal parcel. Cause I was thinking to get someone else to receive on my behalf.

My app also doesn't show it. Probably their system got bug. Mine still got a bit longer, thankfully.

I just found out that they've sent me an expired SIM card which is on 30 September 2018...
Which seems to be unable to activate..
Without activation.. I cannot terminate or request for sim replacement.. Help anyone?

How long did it take you to port in?
I ordered a new SIM (new number) and received last Friday, only successfully activated yesterday (Thursday). Didn't expect it to take that long.

VPN does affect some apps for me. Especially messaging apps like Whatsapp, Messenger and others

Hm... Is Ookyo under Maxis or its another company but Maxis as backbone?
Then its either our phones' issue or VPN does affect

Currently i have use  ookyo on..Galaxy J7..Nova 2 lite and Xperia Z5..

Nova a bit tricky as have to manage battery not to make ookyo sleep..

for RM30/mth, can i choose 4 apps with unlimited data usage as follows:

1. youtube
2. chrome
3. facebook
4. whatsapp

with unlimited tethering?

also, how do they charge for other apps usage that not included in those 4 mentioned?

I have RM13 in google credit but how can i use it? No option for maxis or ookyo at payment options.

How to use the google play credit?

if many port out or cancel the account without paying. they will soon realise the mistake they have done.
definitely will miss the unlimited data access for 4 apps. but i did realise there was a bit battery drain with the VPN system.
2 things they need to change. Remove VPN.
Offer unlimited calls and sms.
For sure will bring more customers.   

Yeah, the VPN really sucks battery. Previously used to charge my phone once or twice a day but now its 3-4 times a day.

Every month when it comes to renewal, sure base plan gone missing. Sick and tired with Ookyo already. Not sure how long have to wait this round.
