1k service just inspection only, nothing to be change, inspection job take not much time (perhaps around 10mins job) but need to q & wait.
Heard nowadays Honda service center can't cope with the after sales due to too huge of customer volume (Honda sales well for recent 1-2 years), averagely appointment for service or even new car problem complaints, all need to wait 1 month. Really crazy...

It is time for them to open new centres. There are a few empty warehouse around that can be easily converted into ready service centres. Less empty warehouse and more employment opportunities.

How you guys renew the insurance for your car? Do you renew at Honda authorise dealer or DIY yourself online from panel insurance company to enjoy the 10% discount?

If renew yourself online, do you still have the HIP package such like sending back the car to SC for repair?

I go back to where I buy the car to renew. There is no 10% discount. Your HIP is under which insurance company?

Could you try to go direct to the insurance company front desk to see if can renew and save the 10%?

Guys, becareful when the SA advices on you doing the "recommended" fuel system cleaner. It is a hefty charge of RM199. They did not mentioned as an additional item but informed me that it has to be done every year. I got tricked into it and not know anything until I signed for it. Cause it seems important to me to have it done as my car is still new. I am doing my 20k services and I just wants to keep everything like new so I had no further question...

Having said that I am wondering if anyone still has the service maintenance to be done for year 2016. I don't want to get tricked it on my 30k service. They could come up with anything.

Just refer to your service book, it will tell what needs to be done. Anything thing else not in the book will be optional.

Other than what the forumers have mentioned, it seems like for those essential items, the SC arbitrarily upgraded to higher specs (fully syth oil, carbon filter element, etc). It may be ur choice becoz higher grades is optional.
And why they charge you twice for evaporator cleaner (item 2 & 11)?

When are we supposed to service our aircond? Is that something where the mechanic have to saw something from inside the dashboard to gain access to?

My car is unable to start and I have to change my car battery after just 15 months. This is a first that I change a battery lesser than 2 years and it comes from Honda lol. My car battery previously can last for 3 years and above but is a wet battery.

I check the Honda website and though the battery covers for 2016 City, my car is not included.

are you heavy user of the HU and USB charging port?  hmm.gif

I charged it all the time in my old car no such problem. Plus city alternator almost double the size of my previous car...

Brake force doesn't seem to come on linearly as i press more on the brake pedal and i feel it start to bite after around 75% pedal is depressed. I find it hard to judge how much brake force i need to press so that I can stop with just nice a distance away, especially from 110kmph. I will either slow down with too much space in between or very little. I got an earful from my family for that.

This is very serious. You better get it check asap.
