Happy to report that my 1st time use of Glaco Mirror Zero worked almost as promised
I took this photo this morning when it was drizzling and very little rainwater stick to the side mirrors. If you see the reflection, the water droplets are from side window. Now I'm thinking to get Glaco for side window as well, but my wallet need to survive until end of month. |

QUOTE(mushigen @ Sep 18 2018, 11:11 PM) Will try, ya. Lols! Maybe it does not last because ITS NOT ORI RAINX?Thank you for the confirmation. Is the Glaco you used not suitable for side mirror? I used to apply rain x on side mirrors and windows. It does not last long. Worse, recently kena "conned" and bought Rain Z. Packaging looks very identical to Rain X. But AFAIK, Glaco have different products for mirrors, side glass, & windscreen. https://www.lazada.com.my/catalog/?q=glaco&....568424f64rgTAc How to use it on windscreen FYI, I'm not seller or recommending this for any personal gain, use at own risk and don't blame me if it doesn't work for you. QUOTE(EON @ Sep 19 2018, 09:24 AM) Anyone are having the problem? i just got the new car yesterday and it rain.. the next day after it rains, i roll the windows down then up, there it water streaks showing up when i roll the windows back up. Its normal if the water gets trapped between window and rubber, and it didn't dry out completely. You can bring this up to SC during ur 1000km inspection. |

QUOTE(aregip @ Sep 19 2018, 10:44 AM) in reference to discussion on whether our S and E spec got socket to plug in the tweeter, i have saw 1 tutorial video on removal back door panel.. When they remove it, i saw free socket which not connect to anything.. Is it socket for tweeter maybe..? can see in minute 1:52.. I attach screenshot of the video for front door and circled the wire connection to front speaker. QUOTE(aregip @ Sep 19 2018, 11:13 AM) Ya, seems like there is no free socket can plug the tweeter.. The Mc Intosh ain't my pics though But just now i do search in Facebook and one person said that in order to install the tweeter, either tap the speaker wire or find male female harness.. Based on your pics on the Mc Intosh tweeter, that one already got harness right? But what i understand from nordingh, the tweeter pnp harness will have Y connector to speaker or something like that. |

QUOTE(jotaro12 @ Sep 19 2018, 09:03 PM) Need some sifu feedback here... TLDR this morning I kena a rather big rock in the middle of highway and found out my bumper cabut after I back home. On the pic, the last clip which the screw supposed to lock the bumper and body is broken. Is there a way to fix this? Looks like the bumper plastic mounting have bee torn off. If it uses screws to join the bumper to fender that mean the plastic around the screw hole(s) have been torn off. If that's the case, then you can probably loosen the screw joints, push the bumper back into place, and retighten the screws. Hopping the screw can contact the remaining bit of plastic around the hole and hold the bumper in place.» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « If that doesn't work, then choose either professionally done or desperate McGuyver style? |

QUOTE(jotaro12 @ Sep 19 2018, 10:30 PM) It's the screw hole broken(rather fragile I would say...) didn't realize the impact that huge. Bodykit also kena scratched underneath but I'm fine with that. I did try to unscrew and screw back and the result isn't satisfy(still noticeable). My temporary solution which I would do these few days is to use those adhesive tape to hold it until my 10k visit. Any other brilliant ideas? lol Well then, either repair it professionally by using fibreglass to patch up the hole and drill a new hole to mount the screws, then putty and paint the exposed fibreglass patch (if it can be seen). Or the desperate way is to use bonding epoxy to fill in bumper gap, then push in the bumper and use clamps/clips & lotsa masking tape to hold it in place while the epoxy cures. |

QUOTE(gsan @ Sep 20 2018, 01:01 PM) For FL it is camera lousy and HU lousy combined. But like aregip mentioned, I too do not fully rely on the camera but also on wing and rear view mirrors. As long can see any moving and stationary objects, and the lines to show me how near I am at the back. |

QUOTE(gsan @ Sep 21 2018, 02:54 PM) Arrival of McIntosh Tweeter today. Took 1 day from seller place to store, and took another 4 days to reach door step. Bought 2 pairs, 1 for myself and another 1 for my friend who drive City-X limited edition Bro, can repost in new thread? Easier to reference next time DIY again, not really difficult as open door panel few times before. Everything is pnp as the tweeter comes with harness ready. Not expert in acoustic, but i did noticed the difference with and without tweeter This post has been edited by babylon52281: Sep 21 2018, 04:28 PM |
